Joint sponsor

Hi all!

So I'm going to need a joint sponsor, but my question is.. can I use more than. 1 sponsors? For example,  I will be using my brother as joint sponsor,  but incase he doesn't make enough can i also use my mother?

No, a single joint sponsor must meet the requirements, it can't be split amongst other people.

exactly, plus they can't combine income so you will need only one that can cover the beneficiary

Both your earlier answers were either incomplete or incorrect.  While it is true, you can have only one joint sponsor for a spouse, it is also true that a joint sponsor can combine income with a qualifying household member.  If your brother and mother live in the same house, they can combine income.  One is the joint sponsor and the other would be a household member.

 

If they don't live together, they cannot combine income.
