As usual Canada seems more aware, seems a lot of press coverage about Canada Day.

This was precisely my point! He said it would good for me, I could get the rest the rheumatologist says I need to recover right now. I disagreed. He mentioned that if I'm uncomfortable with the language barrier, that I should not forget that there are several candidates in both the UK and the US who are prepared to step into the role. He then listed them. One of them was my actual sister!

Speaking of the rheumo, the hunt continues for why I'm in pain still. I had more blood work yesterday, and a ton of X-rays, but the doctor is optimistic that this will continue to pass, as the pain has been decreasing recently in terms of frequency and strength. He thinks that my original hypothesis -- that the first jab of Moderna triggered a massive autoimmune response, causing inflammation leading to pain -- is very possibly correct. He has read of similar events happening in other people who have received one of the mRNA vaccines. Wow! Maybe I am qualified to be a doctor on VJ!! :D But he said to try to rest as much as I can, light exercise only, nothing strenuous, reduce stress, etc. I have a follow up in three weeks.

Hence the need for a sister wife for the next three weeks, I guess.

Happy 4th of July from Ramstein Air Base in Germany! Thousands came together for a celebratory party for the birthday of our independence day.  All races and ethnic backgrounds, U.S. military and their families. A very loud, but great, rock band played, for military and their families. A bugle cut through the loud crowd, playing Call to Color. A hush flowed over the crowd, and all came to their feet for the playing of the National Anthem. One military family. One American family. Out of many, one. All stood there for the playing of the Anthem with pride and respect for our great nation, followed by the 4th of July fireworks. I am proud to be an American.

England is in the final which is causing no end of aggravation at home with someone who said he didn't care about Euro 2020 after Scotland failed to advance. We have moved from a Ukrainian sister wife to a Danish mistress to a full on replacement as wife by a "scorchio" Italian woman.

Considering going on general strike until approximately 3pm PDT on Sunday, all the grumbling and muttering about England is boring. When I remind him that his mother and her side of the family are English, his daughter is English, his ex-wife is English, and he lived in England for about half his life, I am told that I am sympathizing with the colonizers and that I shall be reported to BLM and AOC for re-education. 🙄

I don't think he wants to talk about it at all. Until he wants to talk about it and then it's all he wants to talk about.

So glad he's gone back to the office full time now. ❤️
