Not much, some gaming most likely and nice snack food. Later we get to guess if it's explosions or bullets. They started early this morning which usually means it'll be eventful.

probably some games, some wine, some homemade treats that my wife loves to make, maybe start some packing since we are moving to a bigger apt next week

I'll be celebrating the end of 2020 with my kids, I think were having Sushi tonight

 

I'd like to chat with my Fiance, but I cant because the connection sucks so bad, I want to fly to see her but I cant because of the travel ban, And her petition remains stuck at NVC,  Aside from my fiance saying "Yes" when I proposed to her, 2020 has to be the year from hell, and I'm glad to see it go.

Got Mini-Bone off his tablet and went to the (packed!) Mexican supermarket for some Bana-nina, which we'd long ago run out of, as a special treat.

Also got Mini-B. some flaming Cheetos, as a rare treat.

 

Then, we came home, and we're staying here.  New Year's Eve is amateur night, and the police are eager to nail people for any reason.

 

Mini-B. wants to stay up till midnight, but I doubt that he'll make it (at all, or in coherent shape).

 

Fortunately, it's too wet for the illegal-fireworks idiots to set anyone's house on fire, and we have no known such idiots on our street.  Be interesting to see how Cat T-B. reacts to the firework noises, if at all.

It was very eventful! I not only got the trash bags, I also picked up some razor blades. Scintillating!

 

I also got a message before I left from Al to swing by his office, he'd been told there was something waiting for him that couldn't wait until he gets back on the 9th. Now I thought: hmmmmmm, maybe it's his bonus? But that would be too early, and it may not be by check anyway. It was a holiday tin of chocolate chip cookies sent by a client.  Now I have a dozen cookies which have to be eaten well before he returns. Sorry, make that 10 cookies now.

When the clock struck 12:00, I was inside a MRI machine having a CT Scan, no kidding, Followed by blood work and a chest x-ray, Thank God it was nothing too serious, the good part it is, the diagnosis provides me a valid reason to send NVC a expedite request  

 

I'm hoping it's a blessing in disguise.
