I have dubbed this "Drinking Week" -- election, my ex-husband deciding it's safer to stay near where I live than where he does (downtown LA), my current husband being completely clueless about an agreement we had about telling each other about activities that are not in our normal day to day lives (like grocery store, his office, visiting people in our support bubble) not once but twice in the past week, worrying about our family/friends in England with the new lockdown coming into effect...

 

I started with a small glass of Bailey's last night. I'll make sure to drink extra for you, I need it.

This past year I've played a RE2 remake, bought (and have yet to play) an RE3 remake... passed on the RE1 remak

 (but might budge later).. played and got my first PSN platinum trophy from a FF7 remake.. now there's news there will be a RE4 remake. 

 

The entertainment industry is best noted for its fixes.. like alien films, superhero films, live action Disney remakes, now general game remakes, when they find a niche, by god they repeat the ever living s out of it.

What are people doing for Thanksgiving? Since we are now in a support bubble with my family, I guess we're going to celebrate at my parents' house. Six of us and we can do the test/isolate thing again. All I know is I am in charge of mashed potatoes, because that is my particular talent.  I make the best, sorry.

To all my VJ friends and acquaintances, I wish apologize for a link I inadvertently posted last week.  It was about Hunter, and the thread title was something about p0rnhub.  When I posted the link, I had only skimmed the top two paragraphs, and failed to notice that there were some risqué (though pixelated) photos further down the page.

 

If anyone saw it and was offended by it, I sincerely apologize for the affront. I may be hard-headed and argumentative, but I have never intentionally posted the likes of that in my 10+ years here.  Those of you who know me, I trust that you know it was an accident.  

 

And for those of you who voted for Biden,.congrats on the win.  I hope you get what you wished for in this election.   Alas, I did not, but thems the breaks.  I hope everyone will support the office of the president if not the man (woman), and I hope we will prosper from the changes.  But I have my doubts on the latter.

@Voice of Reason I could say a lot of things at this moment, I had planned too especially to you, but I won't as it won't solve anything or for that matter help anything. I have been silent on many things said here in these political themed threads, but I have been around and read many of the posts. I'll just say one thing the new President-Elect is going to have one helluva job ahead of him and it'll be interesting to see what these next four years turn out to be!!!!!

Not as many as we'd like to. It's something that we really want to do. There's so much of this country I want to show him. Shenandoah is one I remember a lot from my childhood. If the pandemic hadn't happened we may have gone. He's really hyped about visiting some though, especially since we started playing Parks, which is an amazing board game from Keymaster. https://keymastergames.com/products/parks Beautiful artwork, and you essentially try and gain enough 'points' to collect parks as you 'travel/hike' through the seasons.
