It's a mix. There is some heavy stuff about how much divorce can alter you and your perception of the world. But it's also very, very funny and sharp. It got better after one of the characters left before the first season ended. Second season was better than the first and third is strong so far. It is NOT family friendly! A lot of swearing and sex. The other day I was watching in the living room and two characters were having VERY ENTHUSIASTIC sex and Al came in from his study to ask when I had started watching porn in the middle of the afternoon. :lol: Not that he wanted to discourage me, but it was a little distracting.

Yeah, MTV was great, back when it was about music.  I only got to watch it at friends' houses though.  The only cable running to our house was the electrical one.
