I went and bought more juices for the rest of the week yesterday. 👼 This is the one I had for lunch. I can't say that feel too glam to give damn now but it was delicious.

Also this sign (edited to remove word that is not acceptable here) was hanging on the door on the way in:

Isn't that sign kind of contradictory ?

This morning's juice which is just as it says, very hydrating (coconut water):

And also this sign from my visit the other day to their store in MDR:

I have to wonder if they only had one piece of construction paper left and that's why they crammed the "MATTER!" bit on the bottom rather than starting over.

Also, that's sort of not the preferred spelling of "protesters" but their juices are so good I give them a pass, like I give Nature Boy a pass, because he's also good.

We are fully stocked. :D

I just worry that with all the bacon sandwiches and bread and focaccia and whatnot I have been making/baking, and the gyms being closed (reopening next week I think but still.... a little leery of them, even the one in my building, though I have been going back to the now-reopened hot tub) I have put on a few pounds and I have a wedding dress to get into later this year. I'm not talking about a massive amount of weight (single digits), but I don't like carrying anything extra.

i can think of a very narrowly tailored diet that can help - and i'm sure alex would completely agree with it.

Oh, I get exercise at home -- yoga, and also a nice long walk most days. But I have trailed off recently (stress -- even though I know exercise helps). Of course being in self-isolation for 11-12 days and feeling like junk didn't help. Today is probably the first day in 3 weeks I can genuinely say I feel fine at last. But when it comes to losing weight, it's calories for me. So doing a gentle cutback on food is easy enough. When it's only a few pounds to go, I can be reasonable.

It doesn't help that I live with someone who can eat an entire bag of Doritos and sink a few beers on the regular and he doesn't gain a thing. Worse, he's like a feeder -- here sweetest, have a bite of this, it's lovely! And before I can even object, in my mouth it goes. That was last night with a pint of Ben & Jerry's AmeriCone Dream. He got me twice -- once with that line, and then another time when he said he thought he saw something caught in my teeth, and he said show them to me, so I did, and he said, no open wider, so I did, and then... :( :P It's a good thing I love him.

Hmmmm, Alex has already made this point and it was rejected for not covering all of my dietary needs. He pointed out I take a multivitamin but I told him he wasn't exactly being helpful.

i thought you wanted to fit into that dress?  it is guaranteed to make you lose weight, keep a perpetual smile on alex's face, and it's good training for married life.
