06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

It wasn't that kind of gas, silly. It was belching. Full throated, echoing belches that went on for hours. 😟 Nothing helps, not Gas-X, not charcoal, nothing. Just sleep. I feel terrible for him when it happens, and angry with myself for not paying closer attention and for feeling embarrassed by it when I should just be sympathetic. It's not his fault, and he feels wretched. Only thing I can do is try to make him comfortable and love him as much as I can.

Just find the softest seat possible that'll muffle the sound and let 'er rip. 

 

I've gotten good at doing my "too busy writing something down to fart" face, followed by my "what the hell is that?" face.. does good at removing all suspicion.

Alex is home and all is right with the world. Ban Hammer will be glad to know I had a sandwich ready for his homecoming. 😁 I have been proclaimed a goddess which is a lot of pressure but I can live with it. 👸

He had to ask but I did bring one. He was pretty exhausted after an 11 hour flight but there were a few needs he had that I took care of. Beer was one of them.

I'm overreacting reading posts in, like, the actual immigration subforums about having to provide pictures of our first marriages at the AOS interview, right? I saw that this morning, someone in Pakistan getting AP because the two spouses didn't provide pics of their first marriages. I mean, if I do that and Al does that, we are both going to be in a TON of each other's pics. Alex was Voldy's best man and vice versa. I got completely paranoid for a bit, because maybe it looked like I married for money, and then once I got it, I brought over the guy I always wanted to be with? I mean, that's what Voldy says it looks like. 

 

Overreacting, I know. Right? :crying:

Well Voldy seems to have much more complicated Immigration issues than you.

 

And as far as I remember you have never mentioned needing to file through Islamabad, I thought the idea was to adjust in Country?

 

( And yes the situation you described I would anticipate is not common)
