I am sort of Discovery+'d out at the moment. I binge-watched 90 Day Journeys for Larissa and Colteeeeee, Molly and Luis, Ed and Rose, and started Michael and Angela, AND I started Single Life. I feel overwhelmed and refreshingly normal though in comparison. I did have a moment of solidarity with Big Ed though, when he told Rose her breath smelled -- when Alex had a tooth that was rotting and about to break and fall out of his head (we did not know this until it did happen), his breath was roughhhhhhhhhhhhh. I didn't say a thing though, because if I had, I know he would have used it as an opportunity to tip me on my back and blow some of that stank in my face. The extraction was sweet release, literally.

Blame my freshman roommate from West Tennessee for stank. 

 

I will add Lost Kingdom to the list then. Have you seen the new "Play Something" button on Netflix? I pressed it the other night and it suggested Revenge of the Nerds which I think I had seen once about 15 years ago. It had its moments but it ... has not aged well.

Made me laugh.  My son currently lives in Portland but has been looking at leaving, what with all the "stuff" that is going on there.   For a while he was considering East Tennessee but told me he just couldn't imagine is two little girls growing up with that accent!  Looks like he may be coming "home" soon as both he and his wife now realize there is no place like home, there is no place like home.

 

Before deciding to come back to paradise they thought seriously about Phoenix AZ until his wife said NO WAY...too many people from California moving there.  LOL

I live off base in Germany, and I just hate it that there is a curfew in Kaiserslautern county due to COVID. My wife doesnt like me to drink, so I used to wait until after everyone was in bed for the night to drive to the base to get American whiskey. Now I have to pay more off base at the German grocery store during daylight hours to buy rock gut. Haha! Just wanted to find something to post on here

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

I he remember he died in captivity despite all the free Tillikum protests :(

Im glad at least more states are becoming more stringent on orca breeding. I hope Seaworld and similar go bankrupt.
