1) NOA1 for K1 petition was received at the beginning of September but there have been no updates since then. There are other petitions on this site  that have gotten approved and their NOA1 was later than mine. what could be taking my petition so long?

2) I believe one of the required forms for k1 interviews is I134. what supporting documents should be sent? Do we need to input bank savings and assets details if income is high enough. if so, do bank auto-generated statements suffice or do they have have to be signed by the bank?

3) can I scan and email my fiance all of the required documents for the interview (such as signed tax returns, employment verification, I134,...) or do they have to be original?

My income is high enough and the Embassy in Colombia only took my last 3 years tax transcripts and 4 months of paystubs. I had an employment verificaction letter...my w2s....bank statements but they didnt bother. This is Colombia might be different somewhere else.

This is a timeline for me, every case is different, I’m petitioning my fiancé in Dominican Republic!

i sent my I-129 aplication on April 09, I received the approval letter by USCIS on November 1st, case was sent to NVC, they got the case from USCIS on December 10, and on December 18 I got an email from NVC telling me that I can start the process filling for the visa, paying the fees and schedule the appointments which I just did and my fiancé have the appointments for January 16😊

I hope this information help you to get an idea of the timeline. Good luck

We need a little housekeeping from you if you will. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

It is like getting in line at a grocery store.  Some lines move faster than others.

In the guides, and DOS instructions, you would see that the I-134 is submitted at the time of interview.   If you updated your timeline, we could see what consulate it is and give you getter advice.  Some consulates allow assets (bank accounts) others do not.  Some don't even routinely look at the I-134s.

Email it.  Depending on the consulate it might be better if you were there too.
