Mrs. T-B. used her unique skills to pre-scope something that is properly to be, uh, personally delivered to her, ouch man.

She called us at the POTS office (during another set-recording $ale$ week) to comment, ouch man.

We have rarely heard anyone go more aysheep, ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch man.

We somehow managed to settle her down, mollify we she man.

And nothing at the casa was missing or destroyed, relief man.

The Many-roll ([2x2x2x2x2x2 + 2x2x2x2x2]-roll) box of toilet paper that we ordered came in, timely man.

Fortunately, we had ordered one just before the coronavirus panic began, case of the runs man.

We made it, somehow man.

I think, I will get a puppy instead  my baby making days are over. I will happily await grandkids. I know at least one of the older kids will have some in the next few years.

@Ontarkie I hope he gets well soon.  I havent had much of a sense of smell since I was a teen, so my sense of taste is less than average. I probably wouldn't notice. 

 

@TBoneTX I assume she knew this would happen upon mutual agreement of said event? What happens with house and lawn?  Also how are you feeling?

PRG gets a lot more practice; mostly I only end up changing him if he needs it while PRG is busy 🤣

 

Used up all of various free samples (most of which were too big for mini-Dave in April but would have been too small now) and presents, but ended up just sticking with Pampers for the most part.

Sorry I am mostly absent, MIL has been extreme even by her standards and has been in the hospital for 3 of the last 4 weeks. She has had pretty much every test possible from x ray, colonoscopy, endoscopy to heart cath (her 'symptoms' changed every time they excluded something) and the doctor finally called and asked if it was possible this was all for attention and is she a manipulative person - duh yes and yes

Unfortunately due to Covid19 the psychology department isn't visiting inpatient unless there is an immediate risk to life so she has been discharged into our care and has to arrange her appointment in clinic - predictability she is refusing and is now telling everyone she has congestive heart failure and can't breathe (she doesn't and managed to spend hours on the phone talking with no problems breathing)

Manipulative person. Oh my, I know just how you feel. My MIL was described by her Doc as prone to 'wild elaboration".

I've just spent the  last several hours weeding through Himself's long awaited medical records/imaging. I had a job of it, trying to get those. USPS have still not located the packet I sent back in April, so I went ahead and submitted all of the requests on my own. Last week I was told by the release of information office person that while I had sent them everything I needed to, I had not completed the incorrect form.  The form they sent me.

965 pages, much of it copied and pasted from earlier entries, and full of the most astonishing gaffs and errors. I was relived to read that he was lying in bed and 'relaxed', that he wasn't a fall risk, and that he was not at risk for "escape or elopement".  Would have been a neat trick if he had been, as he was utterly immobile. I also really rather doubt the veteran 'expressed verbal understanding' of anything.

 

But, it has certainly relieved my mind in the sense that while we didn't have the outcome any of us would have wished for, I made the right decisions in the end.

Oh I so agree. Parenting an adult is far more loaded than a child !
