I've decided to not accept the vet clinic job.  I really feel that my barely controlled depression and anxiety would get worse. I saw some funny videos and stuff from friends who are techs and assistants and tbh, while it's funny, it's honest and true and I don't want to deal with that again.  I really would rather just stay in the fitness world or move back into the horse world.  I feel bad going to the interview, but I think she's a great vet and will understand.

You have to make the decision that's right for you not your friends

Sounds like not taking the position is the right thing for you and I'm sure they'd rather you declined now than quit in a few weeks

Hoping the right position for you arrives soon :)

Everything crossed for a smooth and stress free journey

Rain and more rain here. Herself has been hiding out in the loo all afternoon. I don't know why she thinks she's better off in there than anywhere else.  It's muggy, and I've finally turned the aircon on today. Hot and muggy. Arkansas summer. Oh boy.

Been doing a little pre paint prepping. I've no interest in it, no ambition to do it, but all the same.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

I hear you ! My daughter is a vet .. a really good vet.. but she’s chosen to be out of clinical practice for  the past few years because of the owners of the pets she has treated .. not just silly comments but the demanding , refusal to listen or follow instructions , complain about costs etc but demand the miraculous ... she happy with walk in walk out desk job as a USDA veterinary medical officer for the time being

Thunderstorms  and rain here for the past few hours ... SW MO weather at its best !!

I think it helps just to do, even if you don't want to be doing.  *hugs*

Been raining all day here too, which is VERY unusual.
