Belated-yet-thrilling Saturday ES report, see man:

 

We hit all Many (2+2+2) itineraried ESs on Saturday, see the take man:

 -- 2 pillowcases; 2 warshcloths; 2 hand-towels; bathmat; one-Many'rd bottle rubbing-alcohol

       = $Many ($2+1), steal man

 -- Ralph Lauren bath-towel; bathmat; Many (2x2x2x2) warshcloths = $2, steal man

 -- egg-spatula = $1, deal man

 -- blouse for Mrs. T-B. = free*, glorious man

Total = $Many ($2+2+2)

 

*ES ladies too short to remove brackets for curtain that a customer had just purchased, sigh man.

  We had been made to eat all our vegetables, adequate height for job we man.

  After bracket-removal, grateful ES lady gave us blouse, glorious man.

Ah well that makes sense.  I try to social distance WITH  a mask, but if im hiking, working outside, or walking the dog, i dont wear one but socially distance.  Thankfully all my streets are wide enough i can walk on the road.  On hikes i try to move off the path but I think I'll buy a neck gaiter. My homemade one doesnt stay up properly.

I go to BJs today. 

They're blowing the left over toys out the door. 

Great, I always buy a few things to have laying around in case we have little friend guests. 

So I buy 2  hatchimals sets, and 2 slime kits. (6 bucks, and 5 bucks each).

I get home, the older one lays claim to a slime kit, the little turtle wants the hatchimals. 

They each want to give the spares to their besties. 

Easy right? 

 

Not so fast...

The wife says "why don't you ever buy anything for my niece?" (I buy plenty of things for her niece, whom I don't even like very much).

I said, these things were bought with no one in mind. It was bought because it was dirt cheap. Your daughters wants to give it to their friends.  

I told her to give it to her niece then. 

<sigh>

Nope. We're "safer at home".  In fact it feels more locked down than it did at safe at home.  More masks required. Even my volunteer place requires a temp check before each shift and has told those over 64 they arent allowed to volunteer. 

I don't know how you're feeling about it, but I'm tired of it all. We do temp checks every 12 hours at work and then for all my clinicals. Goodness forbid you pop a fever for something not Covid related. 

 

A few people are wearing masks in this part of the country and I was a couple of weeks ago, but the vast majority aren't. I'm sure if I didn't get it in Europe that me and all my coworkers have already had it.  I've been talking to a few people about it, but it seems to not really be impacting the population here the same way. Almost all the deaths have been nursing home related. Even with a huge outbreak in the general population, the number hospitalized is near zero.

Yes. A little uplift during the pandemic. 

But there's only a virtual graduation. 

She was also robbed of her hat trick in the district science fair. 

She did an ecological study of the Indian point nuclear power plant. It was awesome.
