The lower the carbs the less her injection has to be because her blood sugar doesn'tsl spike so bad. In fact with weight loss it's possible for her to come off insulin all together.  Cats get more of a diabetic type 2 than type 1 if you want to put it into human terms.  Dogs are the opposite.  Shes probably getting more exercise than normal now too that it's warm and everyone is home all the time.

Frazzled Mama T-B. calls us on Mon. morn, frazzled senior she man.

Uncle T-B., newly returned to own casa, has severe exertional shortness of breath, dyspnea man.

(Some of this is normal, COPD and "stable" congestive heart failure senior he man.)

Her first question to him was, "Did you take your pills today, huh man?" ask senior she of senior he man.

"Well, no," was the broken-record answer,  man.

Himself arrived home safe and sound this morning, riding up front with the lovely postie. I felt a bit bad for her, she has never had to deliver a package like it before.  It is rather clearly marked as to what is in it.

Delivering the mail doesn't usually make her cry, she said. 

I am relieved he is home, and none of his family managed to interfere.

For him? For the moment he is sat on the desk, and not in the family plot

 

I am not doing anything in a hurry, but I think I may make a move West next year or so, so I'm not leaving him anywhere in AR. I know a some people out there, and my son in in Vancouver. Would be good to be closer to him.  He and his husband want me to move in with them, but I can't see myself there. I am not so old as to require care yet.

 

Been doing related paper work all afternoon. Gah.   I am hoping for an early night, the forecast for tomorrow/tomorrow night does not favor Herself, she needs to go in for her shot, and I need to shop and go to the post office.
