Oh my goodness. They did this without even telling you. I'd be rampaging on them right now.

You  did not need the added stress of fake ppl sticking their nose in your business to see what they can get for themselves.

Glad Herself is coming around poor girl doesn't know what is happening.

If they think there is something in it for them, they will find slim pickings. He didn't have anything, his mother saw to that. His sister is the only inheritor, always has been.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Hanging in there. Herself is coming around slowly, but still searching for her person.

I have been dealing with the in laws, against my wishes. It seems the crematory habitually publish a short obit online for anyone  they look after.  They were "looking up relatives this evening" and found the obit. So so sorry, what can we do?  Nothing thank you, you can do nothing for me whatsoever. It ought to be easy as that is all they ever have done. These, after all, are the people who left me to struggle on looking after Himself and the MIL for eight years with no respite. In the event we did need to leave her I had to pay for someone to stay with her.

His sister has rung TN, and in her voicemail asked the company to call her back, so that they can relay her contact information to me. I have her info, and I have no desire to use it. I have had an email exchange this morning with TN, and they have agreed to tell them jack. None of their business. They aren't calling her back either.

It isn't as though any one of them actually give a toss. Demonstrably they never have.  They are pious, sanctimonious, and I am in no mood to have added drama.

Isn't there actual regulations on this?

Pandemics supersede OSHA, so, no. The CDC is rather a moving target of PPE recommendations as well.

Three hours sat in the dark last night, while the wind roared around the eaves.  Not wind gusts, just a steady roaring wind. Herself went to bed, and burrowed completely out of sight. It stormed most of yesterday, thunder and all, and she does not like that one bit, so the  power going out put the tin hat on it.  Myself, I sat in there with her and contemplated murder.

Honestly, those people. The brother in law, he would be the 'former' brother in law now, felt the need to post on FB about my husband. Except it isn't about him, is it. It's about his poor wife and her mother who had to find out about the loss of their dear son and brother on an "accidental search on the internet". How "It has been almost 3 years since his wife cut all ties from them to the family".  He's wrong. That idea wasn't strictly mine, it came from Himself. And if this wanker used his brain for thirty seconds he would remember it was not for the first time either.  He didn't have anything to do with them from 1984 until 1997 either, well before I came along.

And the comments. "Oh how dreadful! What a cruel person his wife must be!  He is safe in the arms of Jesus now, and away from her, that's a blessing! Our sincerest condolences to your family. So sorry your wife had to face additional suffering during such a difficult time"

That right there people is the stuff that keeps America green. I have about ten thousand things to say to that, but I won't. I don't believe in dragging private family business onto social media.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

What terrible people! I'm sorry.  I'd be raging as well.  Keep busy.  I have a list of things to do when my depression and/or anxiety hits.  My mom suggests beating the ####### out of pillows (feather ones) instead of people.

Sad to have to agree with what trudi says.
Continuing to send the best energy & love your way Sidders.

Getting organised for revision for my online course exams.....figured out I only need to clear 67% or above in each of the two tests in order to maintain my grade.....it takes the pressure off but I'll still be pushing myself to hit as high as I can. Yeah I'm that student lol
