Quiet day for me. Seemed odd not to have to get up early and dash over there.  I've tidied up the room, I have a tendency to heap things up on level surfaces, done a bit of shopping to last me a few days, done the laundry.

 

I was up later than  usual last night, tired as I was. I managed to sleep this morning until nearly noon. Still tired!  Having an early night in front of the tv watching stupid people play up.


As it stands, I intend to head for home on Tuesday.  Heads up fellow Arkansans, heavy weather heading your way.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

I imagine the days to come will seem surreal and incomprehensible. This will take time...... travel safely home .. will there be someone at home to be with you when you get there ? Praying for your journey .. physical, emotional and in the depths of your heart.

After selling a last few (actually, Many) pre-Easter POTSs, we embarked on errands, safari we man.

 

We returned some batteries to Northern Tool, full store credit man.

Got a couple of worklights that stand up on a little easel, come in handy man.

 

Then to supermarket pharmacy to retrieve an Rx, get our "frequent druggie" card stamped again man.

We then used a "buy Many (2+2+1), get Many (2=2+1) free" cat-food coupon, Business Typhoon we man.

Little did we realize that the store gave an extra $Many off for buying Many, Spindletop gusher man.

We wished that we had brought the other 2 similar coupons, :bonk: man.

 

We then went to Big Lots with a Many%-off coupon, but store was understocked, truck arrival unknown man.

We then went to Dollar General and got a phenomenal amount of stuff for just under $Many*, good prices man.

      * = $2x2x2x2+2 + half a buck + Many (2+2+1) cents, precisely man

We state again that we visit DG rarely but always leave pleased, must intensity the habit man.

 

When we returned to the casa, a psycho Mrs. T-B. began wiping the coronaveerus off every item, :girlwerewolf2xn: man.

We just retrieved an already-opened package of Walgreens-brand Oreos, plan-to-ingest we man.

Yet again, protocol has been violated, grrrrr man.

 

Instead of eating one cookie from each slot in even fashion, they have done the following, see man:

       1.  One slot is partially eaten, egad man

       2.  One slot is untouched, egad man

Many.  One slot is empty, egad man

 

Now we shall have to ingest far more than we'd planned and shift some others over to even things out, :girlwerewolf2xn: man.

Uncle T-B. is back in the hospital, 2 a.m. ambulance for senior he man.

He'd had dizziness and vertigo for several days, spinning brain man.

He fell, got bonkus of the conkus, and had a sub-whatever hematoma, ouch man.

 

The hospital has run a staggering number of tests just today, impressive list man.

Neurosurgeon says no surgery, medication the probable culprit, and recommends a neurologist, conclude he man.

 

And no one can visit him in the hospital, Covid-Many (2x2x2x2+2+1) rules man.

Mama T-B., already frazzled, spent several hours trying to tidy his apartment, compulsive senior she man.

We called Uncle T-B. and he seemed in good spirits, all things considered man.

We have dished the warsher, room for almost everything fouled by the two Ecus, senior she & she man.
