Thrilling Sunday report, see man:

Awoke far too early with play-tableting descendant, yak-phoning spouse, and hungry cat, full complement man.

We exercised our supreme authority by muttering "Silence!" several times, everyone ignored command man.

 

Watched Mama-Mrs.-T-B. & Mrs. T-B. completely redo MIni-B.'s room, move furniture purge stuff man.

Mrs. T-B. bagged donation clothes that we must unbag to inventory and rebag to donate, duh and  man.

Mrs. T-B. also purged Mini-B.'s books, a bit too brutal man.

But Mrs. T-B. has a throw-out illness, this is plain man.

Maybe she will throw us out straight into the arms of the rubias, whee and glee man.

 

Put up with the above and commands as to what to do with the purged materials, leave us alone man.

Up-picked takeout order from nearest Mexican restaurant, order flubbed twice in a row man.

Mrs. T-B. says that she'll not order from them again, no man.

 

After lunch, instead of napping, we began Laundry Load #1 went out on the town, errands man.

First was to an ES, held on Sunday man.

Waited in short line interminably for "2-at-a-time" entry, gag man.

(Guy in line ahead was a foreigner sniffling/coughing openly, really hygienic attendance restrictions man.)

Casa had only worthless expensive antiques, boring man.

 

Headed for nearish-by cut-hairing place allegedly open on Sundays, enlightened they man.

Sign on door said, "Closed Sunday & Monday," thanks for wasted trip man.

Found dollar store contiguous and bought 2 Mini-B. toothpastes + a tyre gauge, deal man.

 

Went to supermarket to look for boxes in which to carry donated books, threat from Mrs. T-B. man.

None in storeroom; found one on sales floor to take, big/sturdy man.

Stopped at gas station; was told to "return at Many or Many p.m. when we'll have boxes," OK then man.

 

Arrived at casa exhausted, thirsty, & feeling unwell, overdo we man.

Inform Mrs. T-B. & Mini-B. (lounging in M.-B.'s reconstructed room) of our mandatory need for nap, silence man.

For next >hour, Mrs. T-B. yaks and titters audibly with one of her amigas, yak yak yak YAK YAK she man.

We cover ears to no avail, inadequate coverage man.

Periodic shouts of "Silence!" have no perceptible effect, no man.

 

We lie there seething and finally up-give on nap before alarm goes off, surrender we man.

We feel worse than before fake nap, irritated too we man.

Wrangled Laundry #1 & #2, at least Mama-Mrs.-T-B. changed her own pillowcases man.

 

Watched AFV with Mini-B., weekly routine man.

Show will probably be reruns-only for Many weeks hence, California lockdown man.

Mrs. T-B. burned grilled-cheese sandwiches for din-din, stink up entire casa on laundry day man.

 

Read with Mini-B., finish book we & wee man.

Supervise Mini-B. while Mrs. T-B. dallies with phone-yakking, impatient we & wee man.

Wrangle laundry load #Many, mercifully the last man.

Jump into T-B.-mobile in search of boxes, Boxer Rebellion man.

Gas station that promised boxes by Many or Many p.m. said, "Oh, all we have are soft-drink flats," bleep man.

Found a couple of small boxes at another station, infected with smallbox we man.

 

Returned to casa beyond exhaustion, out-wiped we man.

Dished the warsher, silverware situation still manageable man.

Watched late-TV news, virus virus virus virus virus man.

Informed Mrs. T-B. that we were too out-wiped to attempt ONE other thing, unsure that it registered man.

 

Must do one personal-prep project, de-dish the warsher, then cat prep hopeful zzz man.

We would have less of a headache if someone cut it off with a carving-knife, end our misery NOW man.

I went up to the hospital this morning. Seems the rules have changed since last night. No visitors, no exceptions. Not even allowed to wait in between the two sets of lobby doors out of the rain.

 

The hotel manager says that they have closed the hotel next door due to continued electricity faults, and that the guests  from there have been moved over here. Even given that, this place is only at 20% occupancy. All of that number  all are  hospital patients and their caregivers, or people put up because of the recent tornado.  Housekeeping are not coming anymore. 120 staff have been laid off.

I went down stairs to get coffee (there isn't any) and as I stepped off the elevator the power went off. I had to walk back up to the 7th floor.

Enough already.

What chaos. The power  is on so the lifts work. Housekeeping is working in fewer numbers so alternating floors on different days. I can have more bog roll tomorrow.

That TX Doc my husband has is one in a million. He's been raising proper Hades on my behalf. He even went to the ward, took a short video of Himself and sent it to me.

TX Nurse called about 1400, and according to the chief of staff I have got an exemption. I had to go to a different entry. Believe it or not one entry point doesn't have the same list as the other.

So I tired again, and got in. It is like you are running some sort of strange gauntlet to get into the place.

He was pretty out of it, not really present when I got there. Within half an hour he was well more aware, is trying very hard to talk and having some success. At one point he laughed so loudly his nurse came flying in. Did he DO that? Yes he certainly did. Of course 3 minutes later he was away with the fairies again, but nevertheless it was good to see him.

This town is so quiet it is eerie. Everything is shut.

The vets office sent me a video today too. There is Herself, scampering about and running the place. Good to see her too.

Awakened prematurely/unwillingly by persistent cat demanding breakfast, intrepid diabetic miu man.

 

Mrs. T-B. less confrontational than usual because of side effect consequent to cancellation of operation, Fallopian Chat therefore nothing more to say about it man.

 

Worked remotely, with Many phones and typing furiously on-line, to coordinate recordbreaking sales of POTSs, $i man.

 

When by early afternoon all daily POTS sales records had already been eclipsed, we took a nap, zzz we man.

 

Awakened by persistent cat demanding an early din-din, persistent diabetic miu man.

 

Mama-Mrs.-T-B. spent over an hour cooking a soup (and stinking up the casa) that could have come from a can far more quickly, why do things the hard way senior she man.

 

Curbsided the garbage, half of casa thrown out recently by She Who Must Purge man.*

     *we THINK that she was truthful this time about not throwing out anything of ours, throw a fit** we man

In eve, gave Mini-B. his bath and read from the June 1ManyManyMany issue of Jack & Jill Magazine (from nearly Many [2x2x2x2x2x2 + 2x2x2+2] years ago), read we with wee man.

After the letters to the editor from various children (their ages listed), Mini-B. asked, "How old would they be today, Daddy?"

We replied, "If they're still alive, Many years old -- almost as old as Grandma, si wee man."

Mini-B. is always impressed with this, earlier generations grow up man.

 

After handing off Mini-B. to Mrs. T-B. for bedtime, we briefly left the casa to hunt more boxes for book-donations, score we one intact one broken down man.

 

De-bagged Mrs. T-B.'s random compilation of Mini-B.'s donatable clothes, leave them OUT for us man.

Inventoried all for donation purpo$e$, agree with most of what she purged man.

Rebagged in smaller bag, that's what folding vs. random cramming will do man.

Put bag plus 2 Manyzen books in the T-B.-mobile for donation to favorite resale place, prepare we man.

Paid Many bills, Wive$ Are Expen$ive man.

 

Sadly decided that we will cancel our planned trip next Monday, sigh man.

Long day. There is a list, and I am the only one on it today. I don't know about tomorrow, I can only go up and try my luck.

It is like some post apocalyptic movie around here.  Housekeeping was in today, but they aren't allowed back in until I check out. Which could be a long time. I can trade towels  out, and anything else I need front the front desk. We are to leave the rubbish outside the door.

 

He was quite bright this morning, but by midday less so.  went down to get lunch at the caf, and it is in a very reduced state. All the seating has been roped off with what looks for all the world like crime scene tape.

 

We are still waiting to see what he recovers, if anything. He has his moments when he follows commands to the letter, and then he spaces out. When I came back from lunch he did not know me. And hour later he did. All very weird. He laughed himself silly today at the tv, listening to the covid19 update.  Also when my phone rang and it was one of those warranty calls. I said something quite rude and off he went again, it must have struck him as incredibly funny by the reaction.
