I wouldn't like to be as far away as that. If we were at home, which I am glad we are not, it would be under an hour away. I don't have a lot of confidence in AR's VA's.

Neuro has just rung me again with questions about events, past and recent. I suppose they are at least keeping me in the loop, and this guy seems like a straight shooter.

I have managed to successfully order groceries online. As we aren't supposed to be milling around and all. Of course this being the West End there aren't too any shops like that around. I can get 15 kinds of pink cowboy boots if I so desired, but little in the way of a meal. Three places just along this road have shut for 2 weeks. 2 others are doing take away only.

Makes you wonder where all this will end, really.

The lady at the front desk this morning asked after Himself, and told me that at least I could still smile. Oh bless her heart, that isn't a smile, it's the lid on a scream.

I wouldn't be able to stand being far either. Poor dog hopefully they gave her some happy pills to help.

I'm happy the Neuro is trying his best to keep communications going with you. Not know what is going on is hard enough when you are there.

I ordered mine online too. The Jedi and myself are not the worse off for this virus but I do not want to take chances. Plus we live in North Little Rock and I do not want to be out with all the crazies at this time. i ordered my stuff from a near by town with less crime for pick up.

Seems schools in some places are done now for the year.

Little Rock put out a curfew alot of good it will do because it's for 12am to 5am.

The Hillbilly still has to go into work. He figures ASA won't send them home until it's really bad.

I do have the car here, but I'd rather not drive anywhere if I can avoid it. The traffic here is mad, after small town USA. I don't really know where I'm heading either, but I'd also rather avoid punch ups in the toilet paper aisle.

There are less people about here. I guess everyone is hanging out in their own rooms, and even the usually busy foot traffic in the road seems less.

NLR is mad at the best of times. When we used to live in Searcy he went to Fort Roots there to the VA, and there are some pretty sketchy areas around the place.

What do people do when the kids are off school and they have to go to work? Makes me glad I am older and out of that game now.

I don't think either that a curfew will do a darn thing. Like people would actually do that? The jails aren't big enough to hold them all. Or I suppose they could fine them, but really I think it is a bit pointless, people can still behave in the normal way all day.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Wife's employer told her today that she's to 'work from home' from tomorrow onwards. That is, to be standby the whole day without pay and only pay if they give her a task to do…

Meanwhile, even though no one will be in the office, the receptionist will 'work' from home with full pay…

Mentioning that she'd file for unemployment changed their mind for some reason. I still don't trust them, but we'll see what happens tomorrow.

We're gonna go out on a grocery run in a bit, I'm curious to see if our grocery store is still reasonably stocked amidst all this. They actually had TP on the shelves a couple of days ago.

Aside from some nuisances here and there it was fine to be honest. TP was sold out though this time around, and the soap, the canned soups, cereal and the pasta. It was more annoying that the grocery store caused it themselves with ‘10 for $10’ promotions.

Quantity and price precised into P-math, welcome to it man.

"P-Math" consists of the numerals 0, 1, 2, and Many, see man.

It can be wonderfully flexible, if you hang around here you'll see man.

You could have stated, "Many (2x2x2+2) for $Many ($2x2x2+2) promotions," e.g. man.

Speaking of supermarkets, we went tonight, safari we man.

The only two people-edible items on the list were apples and grapes, available but rather expensive man.

We had a fistful of paper coupons, $i man.

We had a store coupon for Many% (2x2x2x2 +2+2%) off the full basket, armamentarium we man.

With paper coupons, store discounts, loyalty-card discounts, and Many% coupon, we saved exactly half*, $i man.

   *(2x2x2x2x2 + 2x2x2x2 + 2)%, not half bad man

This is why we are and remain a successful Business Typhoon, si man.
