That's annoying.  My dog chewed mine once too.  I totally understand the feeling of being a pet lover and wanting to never have one again.

I lost a pair of glasses in consecutive summers to a rogue basketball (once close enough to when I'd need to leave to get back to college that I was worried about it; due to going to high school around Syracuse I love basketball, even if I'm not very good at it ...), but the family dog never got to them ...🤣

I expect weird stuff from my lab, but this guy is so low to the ground he's practically part of it. I think he is having issues from the loss of Daisy (other mini doxy).

Thankfully I bought the insurance expecting the Jedi to destroy them. I only had to pay 41$ to get a new pair and the insurance will still cover the new pair until the original date.

Herself has taken up riffling the bin by my desk for tissues. She chews them up and spreads them all over the place. I didn't think she was actually eating them, but I wonder.

Two  nights ago Himself woke me up at 0400. "I think the dog did something in the hall". He can't see well enough anymore to know what, and yes siree she had. And twice after I had cleaned up no less. She looked properly embarrassed. I've taken to putting the bin up at night.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

I took Himself off to his specialist appointment today. The Doc did not know why we were there. Yay VA, oh well done!

He thought he could find out anything he needed to know from Himself, and I was told, quite firmly, to let him answer his own questions. Certainly Sir, off you go, ask away!

But Himself can't do that, can he. He has no idea of what happened, or when it happened, or the outcome of most of it. It's difficult to maintain the chronology when you are in ICU for 6 weeks. He has no idea of what meds he takes, other than a few, and there are 26 others. No idea what they are for, what time of day he takes it, none of that. He can't half hear what's said, and he can't see well enough to read.

And being my good humored self, I let the Doc flounder. And yes I waited until he asked me for the answers. And once I had done that, I let him very well have it. I've been in the position of having to advocate, to interfere in some of the hair-brained ideas these people come up with for years.  I speak for him because he cannot do it for himself.

And no, you silly little man, it is NOT a good idea to reduce the amount of anti rejection medication he is on. You will not take away. You will not add. This ship is sailed by the transplant team in TN and that is the bottom line.

Ollie will leave gifts if he is left out of his crate. He likes it in there so at least he's happy.
