Update: It is still -32C (-26F) with the wind. The weather has barely changed since I posted the weather last, about a week ago.

Our weekends have been warm enough to enjoy, I think Sunday it got up to the mid 60s, but as soon as Monday rolls around its freezing until Friday. Last night we had light flurries.

We saw some flakes out there this morning. It melted as fast as they formed. The dog had some on his back when we went out to let the chickens out. It's not cold enough for snow.

Our weather guy was very enthusiastic about snow. Newp. Just cold.

I was really surprised to see it. it was more like slush then snow but while in the air it was big flakes. Now it is just yukky out. I want the ground to dry up it's crazy muddy out there.

 

 

 

Oh and Nola is working remember and I think crazy schedules. She is probably enjoying her off time with the family.

Sold 3 chickens today and on Wednesday 5 duckling that older daughter hatched. 

I tried to read the thread but kept getting sidetracked. 

 

I'm now trying to plan the Jedi's birthday that will be next Sat. Ya I waited until now lol. March is too soon gees. 

 

Anyway he has picked a Star Wars theme. He wants a Storm Trooper cake so I need to get cracking an pick what design to do.

We caucused with a neurosurgeon today about our back, investigate we man.

Sadly, decision is "completely up to" us, needed clarity man.

Doc did say that "nothing is perfect, but the goal is 'significant clinical improvement,'" say he man.

So, good grief man.

 

Surgery would take about an hour & a half, "short" procedure man.

We would be casa-bound for a week or a hair more, sigh man.

We would be dependent on care from Mrs. T-B., not always guaranteed man.

Walking around the casa (but not stairs) and sitting would be encouraged, interesting man.

End of restrictions would occur after about Many (2+2+2) weeks, long time man.

 

Every morn when we wake up, we vow to have surgery within the hour, ouch we man.

During the day, things typically improve, rarely even aware of symptoms man.

Unsure whether to keep abiding this merry-go-round, no clue man.

Mrs. T-B. got her hair done (for the Many'th time this week), vain she man.

She went out on the town* with her amigas after Mini-B. was bedded down, party she man.

    *without our prior knowledge, know not we man

Upon her return, we took the Mrs.-T-B.-mobile to gas & warsh it, in need of both man.

There was actually more than just fumes in the gas tank, miraculous to report man.

We must adjust the air pressure in the new tyres, cattywampus man.

 

On the bright side, we found Many cents (2x2x2x2+2+2 cents) in the gas station's parking area, entrepreneurial we man.

Daughter had to try to hatch some from the eggs we collected. All ducks and ducklings are gone. I do not regret rehoming them. I know they are much happier.

That is a tough one.

Pain is so hard to deal with and if I could make my pain go away with surgery I still don't know if I would.So far my pain is not something that I could have a chance to go away with surgery. They don't know what is causing it. 

I've had multiple surgeries for different things and felt so much better after. I always ask myself why did I wait so long. 

Maybe try to right down your pain levels and duration. It might help you see how good or bad your days really are. Do that for a week or a month and see how much the pain impacts your life.

Before ES-ing, donated trunkful of stuff to favorite resale place, load off our mind man.

During ES-ing, lunched at Wendy's with use of coupon, thrifty and ingest we man.

After ES-ing, mowed r-casa lawn for hopefully last time, incipient tenant man.

 

After recovering, took Mini-B. to observe early primary voting, fascinated wee man.

Poll ladies very helpful with impromptu civics lesson, grandmotherly they man.

Mini-B. highly insightful with questions, recent Government unit in skool man.

We allowed him to spin the wheel to enter our code number, proficient wee man.

We let him push "enter" on our ballot choices, respect gravity of process wee man.

Let him push final "cast ballot" button, after confirming "Are you sure you're through, Daddy?"

Mini-B. delighted with "I voted" stickers at polling-place exit, stickered wee man.

After voting, took MIni-B. to din-din at Arby's with use of coupon, thrifty we and ingest we & wee man.

Reported results of bachelor outing* to Mrs. T-B., bach it we & wee man.

       *unfortunately, with no rubias to chase or even scope, deficient experience man
