It was a decent day outside today. Kids went out to play, dogs too.

I need to get the Jedi and new bike and the Tornado a new bike helmet.

If you haven't look at bike helmets recently there seems to be a surge in butt ugly ones. Not sure why they insist on adding spikes to some of them that just seem more ridiculous and then you kid goes and pokes and eye out while crashing into others lol.

The Tornado has been sleeping in till noon I'm paying for it as she is also staying up all night. She's never been a early to bed kid and never really woke up early so it's not totally unusual for her.

Now the Jedi has been waking up about 5am and that is killing me. I've been sleeping on the couch haha.

Ran up to the nearest town of any size today to shop. Nice day here, but they say we are getting very cold temps shortly. I plan to hibernate.

Heaven help me. The drug house over the road has been empty since Dolly was re-arrested last April. I came back this afternoon to find it has a For Sale sign on it. Now I might get lucky and the new owners might be decent human beings. Given my luck, they will have at least one pickup truck with no muffler, several pit bulls, and a pack of screeching children.  Whoever gets it is going to need to redo the entire place. May that will put them off. Unless of course, they are of a similar bent.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Funny how things work. I had sort of  decided I might just stay put here. It's paid for, been nice and peaceful for the last year or so. I have been doing a lot of work on the place, and it is an improvement on what we started with for sure. Now, well I guess it is all going to depend.

The color scheme in there is enough to make you cross eyed. It looks like they have attempted to simulate having wainscotting by using two different colors of paint. Purple/Grey. Bright neon green/gray. Turquoise/black and orange/grey. The kitchen is really just a mess. Underneath you can see that old paneling, the sort that has wide and narrow bits.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Fingers crossed it gets bought by decent people who aren't color blind 👍

Josie dog loves having 6 acres to run around in, I'm not loving the big snorkeling and mud covered hound that comes back 😂

Dawgs, eh? Nothing like a good roll in the mud to make their day :)

I should think you'd HAVE to be color blind to want the place. Heavens, the amount of primer and base it's going to take to make that look decent doesn't bear thinking about.

Positive thinking...it's going to be bought by a nice quiet person who has lots of neutral paint...

I swear this dog can find mud in a desert 😂
