I know nothing about plastic surgery but hope you feel better soon and the results are what you wanted :)

Apparently the Alabama coronavirus arrives like a mild cold then goes away and just as you get all smug about how easy it was comes back like a tornado. Can't say I recommend it and not sure it's done yet

Thanks, I pretty satisfied with the tummy tuck aspect, it is a little better than what I thought it would be. Dr said I might look pregnant/full after because of visceral fat, but it is flat, so thank goodness for that. I just have hopes it will go down enough to not be visible in the coming weeks. I've got to be back on a truck in 2 weeks....

The 'Rona just hits some people really hard. I had the distinct pleasure this fall of getting to visit the covid ward at the state pen and every major hospital in the state (and do the body removal from homes/hospital).... and the struggle some people have with it is hard to watch. Plus, the amount of related clots events, heart attacks, strokes, PEs, is troubling. They seem to have developed a combination of high-flow oxygen and steroids that do really well.  So, at least there is that.

Thrilling Sunday report, see man:

Conquered our ONE laundry load, how different from past times man.

Wrapped more of Mini-B.'s birthday presents, Many years old one week from today wee man.

Confirmed that new episode of AFV will be on in an hour-plus, mandatory watching man.

With difficulty, removed much lint from air-intake grille of hair-dryer, getting thick man.

However, we remember having paid $Many ($2+1) for this dryer at an ES, steal man.

We have used it regularly for Many (2+2) years at least, operational man.

We therefore conclude that we can suffer to clean it once in Many years or so, conclude we man.

Rona, it's not me but redneck, I had a sniffle and that was about it. Redneck had a sniffle and then a week later it hit and he has symptoms all over the place, thankfully no breathing issues so far but headaches, stomach problems, aches and pains, sore throat and unfortunately he has kept his voice throughout...

Alabama COVID is no joke. FIL is now in the hospital. We found out via “prayer” request from Hubs uncle on facebook. BIL called hubs all furious, hubs was like dude I’ve known for 7 mins otherwise I would have told you.  I just happened to see the post. FIL’s GF has also tested positive but is asymptomatic.

Rant:  A couple of weeks ago I gave myself the wonderful gift of plastic surgery for finally finishing this very difficult year. Got a tummy tuck, flank lipo, and chin lipo.  My surgeon is pretty far away (yah for rural areas).  Recovery has been terrible.  It is still a struggle to stand up straight and I'm not sleeping well because I have to be on my back.

And the chin lipo....looked amazing the first day. However, my surgeon doesn't believe in compression garments and it got super swollen at one week, like the size of a golf ball just sitting a little south of the incision. It is now maybe 60% that size, but it looks weird.  Tried to aspirate it a couple of times and nothing and my follow-up isn't until next week.  🤬  You can't tell when I'm wearing a mask, but it looks weird from the side, really weird.

I know I'm still swollen all over and can just now even just uncomfortably button the pants I wore beforehand, so there is still more.... but it is hard to hide when it is in a visible place.

My daughter in-law had hers done on the 28.She lost a ton a weight and had extra skin that was getting infected. The doctors wanted her to wait until after she had kids, but with repeated infection it was best not to wait. They also had to fix a hernia too that. She actually ran out of pain meds and it took awhile for her surgeon to call in another.

Hope you feel better soo.

Well after months and months of suffering from sour stomach, massive acid reflux and bloating. I decided it was time to stop eating foods I'm allergic too. Yes actually allergic too as they also trigger my asthma and well I can list symptoms a mile long.

So I went 100% carnivore. I don't eat anything unless it comes from an animal. Except for salt it's seems to be vital too.  I've only been doing it for a week and the last 3 days I've had not one tiny bit of sour stomach or reflux. The reflux was so bad before too.

I hope it works for you. I know a growing number of people who eat almost entirely animal products for allergy and fitness reasons.

Oh yeah, the skin flap infection issue is tough to deal with. I hadn't lost any weight (besides back from pregnancy), but I was sick of wearing spanx, even to work out, and having my pants slide right down when I was working.

I still can't believe that it is an outpatient procedure. I really could have used that first night or two in a hospital. It might be one of the worst surgical recoveries I've had.

They can always repeat it after kids, if she wants to.

I haven't had my follow-up yet. I go this week. Generally they give you long time frames, like 6-12 weeks for recovery, 6months+ for full results.

Thanks, so far so good. I'm not planning on doing this forever unless they foods I try to reintroduce make sick again. I'm hoping a few will be ok at least here and there.

Oh yes I hate the pants thing too. I still can't believe they think that diastasis recti is cosmetic surgery. I'm going to go to the DR for mine later this year I'll save a ton of money and get to around the clock nurses and chef while recovering. Plus away for the kids :)  I was surprised it was outpatient too. Seems pretty nuts it would be.

Daughter in-law doesn't think she will need it after kids as she doesn't plan on ever weighing that much again. But yes if needed she can do it again. She has a few more years to Pharmacy school so she can enjoy her tummy for awhile before babies.

Weirdly enough, one of the people I know with allergies who almost always eats animal products can eat sauerkraut without issue.

The nurses/food will be worth it. I needed help doing everything the first few days.

The cosmetic thing is just one further way we discount women and what pregnancy does to their bodies.  It wasn't until recently that women's health services/deliveries were even guaranteed for insurance to cover as I'm sure you remember.

Sauerkraut is a weird thing to be able to eat lol.

Oh yes that is what I was thinking.

Odely enough I read that that women have zero percent chance of getting this covered or even partially covered but men often do get it covered. Which is totally messed up.
