Redneck's aunt died last night, she was the only good one out of the whole lot and I'm going to miss her 

Pretty tough for the family to lose 2 sisters in the same month, next year has to better surely..

I used to go all out. It used to look like Macy's exploded in my house. I inherited that from my Mum, who even used to decorate the ceiling.  With garland tinsel from corner to corner and red and green glass balls measured, if you can imagine, at 16 inch intervals. With a great big poofy red/green concoction in the center. Certifiable. 

Himself didn't have any of that growing up. His stepfather, the last one, and the most long lived, was a preacher who had to get around to three churches of a Sunday. No fun in their house, ever, for any reason. So, he used to get a big kick out of the madness.  There just isn't any point this year. Back in July, I carted the whole lot off to the hospice shop.  Herself doesn't know the day is any different that the one before it, or the one that follows. I'm not actually doing a scrooge, I'm just not....involved this year.

It's been only in the Manys ([2x2x2x2x2 + 2x2x2x2+2]s) here lately, Arctic garbage man.

Nevertheless, Texas weather Many, Arkansas weather less-than-Many man.

Caucused with insurance adjustor on Monday, caucus we man.

On basis of replacement cost (genuine GM parts only, plus damage that only the adjustor can see), co. wants to total the T-B.-mobile, unbelievable man!

Estimate was nearly $Many,000 ($[2+2+2],000) for a fender-bender man.

 

He gave us Many (2+1) options, see man:

1.  Total it out, cut us a check*, take the T-B.-mobile, unacceptable man.

2.  Total it out, cut us a check,* we keep the uninsured T-B.-mobile, unacceptable man.

          *less deductible & salvage fee, forget it man

Many.  We drop claim and go after at-fault's insurer, might work man.  Adjustor gave detailed advice/tips, Protect Own Co. First man.

 

We took T-B.-mobile to body shop, trustworthy as the day is long man.

Shop manager & shop owner both inspected T-B.-mobile, inspect they man.

They estimate no more than $Many,000, about one-Many'rd of insurance estimate man.

They consider it completely loco to consider totaling the T-B.-mobile, ridiculous man.

They said, "Give it to us on a Monday and we'll probably have it out on Friday," depending on paint's drying man.

They too gave us insurance advice, helpful man.

 

Unfortunately, we are slammed at the Pre-Owned Toilet Seat factory, Many'rd-busiest time of year after Mother's & Valentine's Days, man.

We cannot immediately react by calling other insurance co., no man.

Plus, we shall be away early next week and then come the holidays man.

 

We shall have to rehire our POTS-limousine chauffeurs, Jeeves & Smedley, previously laid-off man.

Insurance companies definitely only think of themselves.

I remember the first Christmas, I did nothing that I used to do, I just couldn't bring myself to make the effort without him, it was just another day to get through.

We actually called the at-fault kid's insurance co. today, si D ma'am.

They sounded quite easygoing about settling, seemed to us man.

They said either to submit fotos, or go to a site for a personal appraisal estimate, si man.

They said that any hidden damage can be added to a supplement, explain they man.

We will caucus in person with them on Wednesday, Manycember Many'rd at Many p.m., caucus we man.

Now, our hope is to avoid all other accidents between now and then, Murphy's Law man!

Mini-B. had his last full day of skool before break, half-day on Friday wee man.

After skool, we kicked a ball around the back yard, exercise we and wee man.

 

For din-din, we had a Guys' Din-Din, two bachelor guys we and wee man.

We had chickenburgers made from frozen patties bought at Aldi, buy there we man.

Mini-B. wanted his with lettuce & tomato, anticipate this prepared we man.

Burgers were so thick that Mini-B. couldn't eat his full two, sated wee man.

 

Afterward, Mini-B. observed, "We're two guys, si man!  We eat WHAT we want WHEN we want, and no girl can tell us what to do -- not even Mommy, no man!"  We burst with pride at our chip-off-the-We-Man's perceptive conclusions, proud ancestor we of descendant wee man.
