Well we are turkeyless in the backyard and I have one 40.2 lbs turkey in my fridge waiting for Thursday to make his grand appearance. 

 

Older daughter said he is made with love. She definitely fattened him up nicely and he had a wonderful life in his short 8 month stay with us.

Registered the BMW.  Had to make an appt for hubs to register the truck.  I thought we'd get a little card in the mail like we did with BMW, but since we have the title in hand, we won't and I should've made an appt for the truck as soon as we got the title.  So unless you have the title in hand, in Colorado, you can register your damn car and all these people driving around with old dealer plates are just lazy.  Too lazy to use a computer apparently.

 

Also I officially dislike my iphone.  It took WAY too long to upload music from my computer onto the phone. (several hours of trying to get the darn thing to sync with icloud and finally i could turn the darn icloud off so I could just drag and drop!)  I can't use my normal songs as notifications or ringtones.   Why do people like these? It's way more difficult to use than an android phone.  Sure it's more secure, but with that comes all the limitations and if you get an error notice, you're out of luck.  yeah I can delete anything I want off it and it's not bloated... I'm sure it's easy to use if you've never had the freedom that android gives you (hello 3rd party applications!)

but i'm stuck with it now

next time I'm switching back to android.

He didn't and she has caused irreparable damage to her heart and kidneys and is moving to hospice care today.

Why could she never be happy with what she had or for her children, her need to be in complete control all the time is going to cost her everything, it didn't have to be this way

Manipulative isn't she. My MIL had a bag of tricks very similar. Didn't work on me either. And  it backfired on her as well.

There is nothing you can do for them that is enough. They are either the victim or the hero.  Never anything their own behavior has brought them.

Various times over the years all of my MIL's children have cut her off. Even her favorite. He called  her a Class A Predator, and he was the golden haired child, so that says something. 

Her entire life has been a pattern of self-centered, arrogant thinking and behavior, a total lack of empathy and consideration for other people, and an immense need for admiration. She has got to be in the limelight all the time, always the center of attention, and woe betide the person who gets in the way of that. My MIL was  indulged her entire life, the only child of only children, and then by a succession of men, single or not. From what I understand, she remains  bullying, manipulative, selfish, patronizing, and demanding. Her son-in-law wants her out of his house. Her daughter doesn't think she can do that to dear old Mum. They are in counseling. My money is not on a successful outcome of that. 

You are right, it didn't  have to be this way. But it is what their poisonous behavior earns them in the end, and there is nothing you two can do about it. This is not your fault, nor his. It isn't up to either of you to mend. 💔
