"You can return your car at any dealer near you" 

 

Are you kidding me? Did you just tell me to go to another Lexus dealer to return my car? 

Did you just send your customer to another Lexus dealer? 

 

Coincidentally, right when I'm fuming in disbelief, the GM of this dealer sends me an email

"Can we offer you a new car?" 

 

(Do these people have daily meetings to communicate? like my company did?) 

 

I emailed him back. 

"Since your salesperson, 10 minutes ago, just told me to go return my car at "any Lexus dealer", I will get my next car at "Any Lexus dealer". 

 

So, I contact this "Any Lexus dealer" in NJ at about 3 PM, today. I have a deal, I now have a new Lexus...

 

And my kids' Godfather also has to return his Lexus from this same dealer. So it was a 2 car deal. 

 

It's almost funny lol. 

I'm sure they know that every Lexus dealer have the same car for the same price.....

 

 

Sometimes, education can be expensive .   :D There's a multi-part lesson in there, but you knew that, already.   And this is probably not a fook-run Lexus dealership, as well ...

Amidst furiously fulfilling plaintive POTS orders, we did the following, do we man.

 

1.  Hit closing-down department store for Many%-off ([2x2x2x2x2x2 + 2x2x2x2 + 2x2x2+2]%-off), steals man.  Buying a Manyzen items yielded an extra Many% ([2x2x2x2x2x2 + 2x2x2+2+1]%) off, highway robbery man.  We got Many (2+2+1) Chaps dress-shirts for $1 + half a buck each, unbelievable man.

 

2.  Hit Target for two more of miu's favorite toys, feather inside rubber roller man.  Miu thrilled, thrilled miu man.  Bread loaves sold out and peanut butter too expensive, skippy it we man.

 

Many.  Hit Dollar General for peanut butter, deal man.  Bread loaves sold out, search further we man.

Many.  Got last bread loaf at gas station, satisfied we man.

Many.  Favorite resale shop closed today-Thurs., no donate today we man.

Many.  Two-chair Mexican barbershop closed, no hairs cut we man.

 

Mini-B. playing all day with little HongKong-ese amigo, videogaming wee men.

Mrs. T-B. off to same department store in search of deals, many chica clothes remaining man.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
