Innovative, but new miu rarely concentrates solely on food if we're doing something in the background, sigh man.  In fact, miu will follow us away from the bowl after we've dropped treats in there, attention-loving miu man.

Lovely day here, cool, low humidity, like fall. I thought I might turn the AC off, so I did.

10 minutes later my computer shuts itself off *poof* I tried to turn in on, nothing. Then I notice the router is off, the phone is off, everything on the desk is off. In fact, there is no power at all on the north side of the house.

 

I go around turning lights on, everything else was fine. So I checked to see that the AC would come on, as we are looking at big heat for the weekend. It comes on.

And so does the power.

Being me I experimented, turn the AC off, no power. Turn it on? Power. Now is that bizarre or what?

 

So I call the power company, maybe a leg has fallen over, and the AC being on supplies power to the 110V. Nope, they sent a man right out, and that is all fine.

 

Call the electrician that came out here last year when we were hit by lightning. He came out and had a nosy, and will be back tomorrow to fix me up. Going to be spendy, but what else can I do, really. New breakers, new panel, the whole nine yards. Going to be without power all day, oh yay.

 

So far 2020 gets a poor review from me. "cannot recommend".

Actually, after a beautiful day, we were hit by a massive t-storm and lost power for Many (2x2x2+2) minutes, de-lighted we man.

Now the Dark Ages have ended and we are again enlightened, enlightened we man.

We are experiencing a failure of the power to go out, meaning a power innage, that's the term man.

We moved to Alabama today and left MIL in NC 😁

I'm sure she'll end up here eventually but we're going to enjoy being free for as long as it lasts 😁
