Finally got a call from the car dealer, what a Falkland  pain in the azz.

I forgot to share  that the Jedi learned how  swim last week.  

 

A really big deal for him as his fear of water from when he had GBS and the therapist let go of him (he went under) in the pool when he had to learn to walk again. 

 

Now the Tornado kept pushing him to asked me to take his puddle jumper off. I told them both I wasn't even going to try to teach him to swim until he could get his face wet. Within days he was dunking his face and practicing the best he could with the puddle jumper going under. 

 

When I did take the puddle jumper off of him I explained the rules told him he needed to stay near the side of the pool and near me at all times. Gave him a run down of move your arms like this and kick kick kick. 

OMG the child just took off, he swims like a fish now. Cannon balls, doggie paddle and all kinds of tricks under water like it was second nature. So proud of the little guy. Still have to watch him closely as the pool is deep he can't touch bottom without being under water.

Got new miu, no fotos yet man.

Miu kind of brown-tabby shorthair but with swirly black patterns on sides, full-body black racing-stripe, & black-ringed tail, mixed miu man.

Miu about Many (2x2x2x2-2) months old, young-adult miu man.

 

Miu vacillating between hiding and accepting affection, vacillatory miu man.

Miu will NOT eat/drink because miu will NOT go downstairs to bowls, curious man.

Miu did use litterbox and it wasn't diarrhea, un-upset miu man.

 

Haven't seen miu for about the last Many-&-a-half ([2+2]-&-a-half) hours, disturbing man.

We are hearing occasional distress-meows but can't identify from where, disturbing man.

Hope not to wake up to dead miu, starved/thirsty/trapped man.

Miu actually ate something when we offered bowl on stairway, miu scared of kitchen man.

Miu developing reputation for social behavior such as pushing for strokes, affectionate miu man.

Miu even let us brush her, although she's obviously unused to it, unregularly brushed miu man.

I have a cat that would bite you if you brushed him.  Hes a jerk. Like the third child we forgot we had. *shrug* oh well, stuck with his dumb butt now.

Before reading this advice, Niki-B. ma'am, we took it, feed new miu we man.

We served a can of Aldi beef paté and showed bowl to miu, interested miu man.

Miu ate at least half, eyeing us warily while doing so, unobtrusive we man.

 

We then moved bowl to proper place between dry-food and water bowls, follow us miu man.

We pushed miu's face into water, no reaction man.

At least miu knows where din-din will be served, must now establish schedule man.

 

Miu then went aysheep and wanted to play, chase fuzzy ball new miu man.

Wet food is better for cats than dry. In the wild, cats get most of their water intake from food, not drinking but obviously still drink.  Most cats will die from kidney failure in old age due to the fact they just dont drink enough water and are inefficient at doing so.  A dog creates like a bowl with their tongue and a cat just touches the water and brings that up. 

But even knowing all this I feed mostly dry food for cost and efficiency. My cats seem to have learned where the water is and partake in it regularly.
