Y'all are great for the environment. I had 13k in a year.  Already up to almost 16k. Hubs has 30k and bought it at 9400 last year.  Tbh the mustang has the least miles at 35k and its a 2003.

I've lived only a mile from the office for all but the first few months I owned this car (office moved a few months before my lease ran out, then I moved close to the new office), we don't get out much even when there's not a virus going around, and almost every time we leave San Diego county it's on an airplane (well, other than visiting some friends in Temecula). And we've usually taken a rideshare to/from the airport, even from here to LAX (it's not that much more expensive than parking near LAX for a week ...).

My ten year old Toyota has just hit 50K. Most of that was in the last 4 years, including from here to BC. I don't get around much it seems.

I can't believe I still had it. As I go through all the boxes I am finding a lot of stuff I can't explain I still have. 14 boxes went to the thrift on Thursday, and I have filled two more today.

Herself is in hiding. Trifecta today, boxes, the kid over the road still has fireworks, and the weather radio has gone of 11 times in the last two hours. Just going again now.

Himself set it up, and I am going to have to figure out how to reprogram it. Only two of those are pertinent to where we are, the rest of are counties in Oklahoma. I guess he thought as the weather moves west to east he wanted lots of warning. Trouble is this system is moving north to south.

I've just read the darnedest thing in the local news. Not very often my mouth actually falls open, but it did this time.

 

In January, Himself had a run in with a temporary VA doc here in town.  His TX team in Nashville prescribed lorazepam for him 8 years ago, in an effort to keep him calm, and try to help with his wildly fluctuating blood pressures. One of the off formula things he took sometimes for the effect it had. Worked to.

 

I don't remember if I posted about it here, but this temp guy (who had an emotional support dog in the office with him) was of the opinion ALL stress was related to a mental health condition, and would not renew it without a psych consult.  Nashville got involved, terse email was exchanged, he had to go to the consult, but that poor psych doc couldn't understand why it had been requested. It was a mess, and it was very stressful for him, which is something we were trying  to avoid.

 

That temp doc had a very good reason to see mental health boogeymen everywhere. His wife of four years has been jailed, for hiring her handyman to kill him.  Said handyman went to the police, who got him to go talk to her again wearing a wire. For his trouble, he was given the title to a 2002 Chevy Tahoe, blue book value in good condition 4,400.

There's nowt as ####### as folk.

I would get that thing adjusted too. Poor Herself doesn't need to be worried about Oklahoma.

Since failing my allergy shots my allergies have been terrible. SO much so that this so called cold that only plagues me since December is now thought to be nothing more than my allergies. I cough like crazy bring up all kinds of crud and my asthma flairs up easily. I'm going to have to call to get into the doctors. I don't want to be in that germ infested box but I have no choice. Maybe I can weasel out a few free inhalers out of it. 🤞

Oh wow that is just wild. 

It's nuts, and there seems to be no shortage of locals locked up for murder. One in the local jail on a 1 million dollar bond for actually murdering someone she wasn't associated with, and another for murder for hire, she was trying to have her son and his girlfriend killed. Why am I here!?!

Oh my goodness. 

It's crazy here all crazy. 

There was a fight here in Sherwood Walmart and a women tried to break it up. She got hurt in the process then she pulled a gun out and shot it in the air inside the store. Ppl are saying she is a hero. I think it's nuts. She didn't have to get involved with that fight and shooting a gun off in the air in a store full of ppl was stupid. 

This Walmart is always packed. They have her all over the news praising her. Police are always in the store she should have left it to them.

Crazy as. Why would she stick her nose into the middle of that! Are people crazy from the heat? Just crazy?  I am off to the Walmart in Alma tomorrow to pick up this weeks stuff. The way things are going I am happier doing that. Nothing to do with avoiding the virus, just the nutjobs.
