After the ES, we went to another Goodwill to hunt more clothes for Mini-B., outgrown-others wee man.

Struggled through completely disorganized*, completely packed* racks, irritating man.

       *reminding us of why we haven't visited a GW in literally years, reminder man

Found Many (2+1) shirts and Many (2x2x2+1) pants for $Many ($2x2x2x2+2), deal man.

Mini-B. tried on all, liked all, and all fit, still a perfect record we man.

 

Actually got Mini-B. to also try on all his existing short & long pants, Many of each man.

The long & the short of it was that most of his long pants were now too short & tight, not-so-wee man.

We think that his short-pants inventory is adequate for now, evaluate we man.

We do need to get more long pants, pant we man.

 

Next we shall inventory his shirts and sleep-pants, other half of inventory man.

We can evaluate his shirts by sight, proficient we man.

After the ordeal today, his trying on his sleep-pants should be a snap, oh snap man.

 

And Mrs. T-B. tried to horn in on our bachelor time, but we used Guy Power to thwart that, Two Guys Bonding man.

Even my dog, who is not normally upset by fireworks or thunder, was nervous on July 4th.  He didnt want to go outside to potty. He definitely has to go first thing in the morning. 

 

Working at my new store. Its not nearly as fun of an environment as the old one, the boss wants to be friendly and nice, but definitely has that "I'm the boss" vibe.  Which is understandable. He used to manage a home depot and then managed a Lowe's for 10 years.  His aspirations are higher than a GM. He wants his 6 figure salary back.  Im learning, and i understand the difference between how your employees react when you're more genuinely friendly and available like my training store and currently.  I think there's a happy medium in there for me. 

 

My dad is getting slowly better.  He is spending 8 hours a day at home and on the 8th should be home permanently. He was almost a constant chatterbox during his hospital time and now is almost silent.  Which is what I figured would happen and am not disappointed nor really bothered.  Just, resigned.

it was good. We social distanced by only inviting 1 family.

I gotta return the lexus in a few days.

It has been a very inconvenient lease return. Due to changes for the pandemic, they didn't come inspect the car. 

So I gotta drop it off at the dealer to let them inspect it. 

Normally, I'd drop off the car, "Here's your piece of ship, where's ma new car?"

Man what a hassle.

I only put 14k miles on the thing.

You know guys been thinking of buying my fiance his dream car...A toyota avalon hybrid any year model from 2013...........Been around the market place in Houston and it cost an awful lot. Was wondering I I can try copart😒  I already see they have hail damaged vehicles with salvage certificates for a fraction of its cost rice in the market....any suggestions anybody?

Not to give 'men"  credit bet I dont really know much about cars..but he does...and since its a project am working as a surprise I cant tell him...My cousin in houston says cars can  be driven over to mexico to fix them cheap...I dont intend to buy anything with mechanical damage...maybe Hail damaged (salvaged)

Interestingly, once we met a family from Roma who didn't go straight across their port for such repairs, but instead they went over to Cd. Camargo, interesting SS ma'am.

 

Remember, too, that the Mexicans (and Gringos) are frowning upon crossings for "nonessential" business, si SS ma'am.  We will test this imminently, fingers crossed man.
