Troll got kicked out of his second daycare this month.   He's fine at home. I just think he needs more freedom at school/daycare or something. He understands and can verbalize what he needs to do when he feels angry: calm down, take deep breaths, etc.  Buuuut, it just doesn't seem to be happening and I don't understand the disconnect because I'm not there when it happens. Any time he's upset about something at home, he just comes and talks to me about it and we find a solution.

They may not have the time to do that with him if they have other kids. Maybe a day home or a nanny might work better?

These last two were in home daycares, but they watch 8+ kids at a time. He has problems at school too, but they've got one teacher for 19 kids. He is incredibly demanding and requires a lot of attention.

I had thought about having a high school or college kid do it for the rest of the summer, but my mother is flying out this week, so that will help.

School will be over for me in December and then I'll only be gone 2-3 days a week versus 7 days now.

Well dogs and cats need to be put under anesthesia. Since my dog had a heart murmur he needs to be checked out to make sure he's safe to do that.  Also he is a breed that is genetically disposed to DCM. https://www.vet.cornell.edu/hospitals/companion-animal-hospital/cardiology/canine-dilated-cardiomyopathy-dcm#:~:text=Canine dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) is,blood through the vascular system.

Herself hasn't got a heart murmur, but they do run labs first, as she is a 'senior' dog.  She's due for her teeth in August, and I hope they don't have to draw any more. You can get those chewy stick things to help clean their teeth, but she isn't a chewer. I have to break up even the tiny dog treats or she just carries them off and buries them in the bed.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Neros heart is okay, the murmur is a little louder than before but no need for meds at this time. He's okay to get his teeth cleaned.  We just recheck him in a couple years or if he develops a cough.

All clinics should run labs first but moreso in older dogs.  Nero chews on a lot of things and as a big dog doesnt need his teeth done as often as the little ones. There is stuff you can put in the water or wipe their teeth with that help too if she will do that.

I could try and put it in the water, but I'll stay well away from those teeth. Tiny little pointy daggers.

Baby girl was born June 15th at 7:12pm. I got maybe a minute of skin-to-skin with her before she was taken away and off to the NICU because she was struggling to breath. They had her on CPAP and within two hours of birth was breathing regular air just fine. After that, they came up with "low blood sugar" and "she's not feeding on her own" to keep her there longer. After a full day and a half of that I told the nurses that if they wanted to keep saying she wasn't feeding on her own they needed to stop feeding her through her NG tube and let me try feeding her to see if she was truly not feeding on her own. Once they stopped doing that her blood sugar normalized and she could eat on her own. Amazing how that works... She was discharged from the NICU less than 24 hours later.

She looks like her dad ❤️

MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS! 🙌

What's her name?
