President Trump’s cameo scene in the holiday classic “Home Alone 2: Lost In New York” was reportedly cut from showings of the movie on Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) this month. 

The edit was noted by viewers on Twitter, some who praised the network for the move and others who lamented CBC’s decision.

There's no Trump Derangement Syndrome without the media's efforts, and Trudeau gave the Canadian media 600 million reasons to gaslight Canadians further. The bias we see on NPR or PBS is paltry compared to how overt it is on CBC.

I remember following the 2016 elections, the local 660 News station wouldn't stop playing segments from people saying Trump will be impeached and removed, they'd endlessly do the Russia conspiracy talk, I never bother the radio stations but it went way too far, so I called in and tweeted them on Twitter reminding them that we're in Canada and that pushing Trump Derangement Syndrome here makes little sense. They blocked my number and social media account over that. So I went to the next hearing 660 had to maintain their public funding+tax exempt status and detailed to the city their insane bias, the city retorted they don't need to be fair to Trump, particularly the city councilor Druh Farrell who called Trump a white supremacist and suggested I was too for defending him. The same person who's my city councilor and blocked me because I questioned her desire to call everyone she disagrees with a white supremacist/Nazi/etc, and events she doesn't want to go to (many that were about saving the oil/gas industry), she would lie and call them "amplifying white supremacy" as an excuse not to go because she wants it to die, in Alberta of all places. 

 

Global, CTV, and CBC all had dedicated "news" crew livestreaming the Kavanaugh hearings, Trump impeachment hearings, and so on. You had media people paid by the government, who were already overt Trudeau fanatics, suing Andrew Scheer, trying to revoke the passes of media they disagreed with so they couldn't cover the Canadian elections.. Canada's got problems, and they're not problems the US is above if things get more toxic than they currently are. Canada clearly doesn't have the kind of institutional/government hindrances the US Constitution does, and snowflakeism is so much worse here than anyone outside Canada understands. When I first came to Canada nearly a decade ago, people weren't like this whatsoever. In fact, they were far less partisan than the US, they'd sit and listen diligently when people had political discussions and would be somewhat reasonable. However, the last 3 years has seen that all evaporate to where they're utterly knee-jerk, reflexive, and it's changed everything, from public discourse, to company culture. So it's not a surprise that something like this happens, it's just trying to teach people that censoring things people don't like is justifiable, because the "diversity" authoritarians coincidentally want one viewpoint and nothing more. Canadians unfortunately are buying into it, and it's making life in Canada that much more toxic.

Clearly the CBC has a lot of accidents.

 

 

 

 

 

 

I bet I can find on Daily Kos or CNN the same citation of CBC's own words declaring their removal of Trump was not bias. Just like none of this other stuff was bias.

 

Hint: The left know its bias, they just want their way. And as long as independents, moderates, and conservatives all keep playing this game like its about the truth, when it isn't, they'll be one step behind the ill-motivated.
