A very rural post office sometimes is not manned in the Philippines province. Will they deliver a Notice of interview to a PMB. (public mail box).  There is only the village name and province as address used there.

Nothing gets delivered to the applicant.   Everything is done online and by the applicant. For Manila specific questions,  visit the Philippines regional forum

There is nothing that is mailed to the beneficiary in the Philippines at all. where did you hear this, and what province is your fiance from?

I will move this to the Philippines subforum so you know where it is

Last thing the embassy would do is use PhilPost for anything of importance ... like tossing stuff into a "black hole"

The process is completely online, I will provide you with a link to a guide for the visa process.    Follow each step

What is your visa type, your profile is void of this info?

DS-160 right?

Every visa applicant submits a ds160 to the consulate when the time comes.   You are a bit ahead of yourself.   Get the petition submitted first

After the petition is approved you will file a DS160 for a K1 or a DS260 for a CR1/IR1

If you are completing the K-1 ..    Yes your fiancee will complete the DS-160.    DS-160 is the VISA APPLICATION.

Follow the guide I gave you a link to.  There is a section just for the DS-160

Update your profile & timeline  ... there are many types of visas

Zamboanga del sur

My wife is from Zamboanga del Norte. My wife says she can only remember one piece of mail being mailed to her family her entire life. She will get nothing in the mail from the embassy. You will do all of it on line. Follow the directions in the link on Hank's signature. Painless. Just keep in mind since your wife lives in a remote location you may find yourself doing most of the work in this process. Good Luck) If you ever have questions the Philippine regional forum is the place to come to. Chances are one or more of us has been through any situation that comes up)

I plan to be in the Philippines with her after the first of the yr after the K1-129f is mailed. I Hopefully will be able to take care of additional information required at that time and help her with her side of it.

I had a previous K1 in 2006 approved but don't remember the exact date of filing. The app asked for both the date of filing and the A-number which I have. I believe I know the month and year, but not the day.. Is that enough to satisfy the application process?

I found a NOA dated May 2007 approving the prior visa. On it is the reciept #WACxxx plus its showing a recipe date of Sept 14, 2006.. I'm thinking that is the best date to use, since they received it in the mail from my attorney on that date even though my check was dated Aug 8, 2006. comments?

The A # many times is listed with the beneficiary's name on the NOA
