I got my NOA2 approval text and email today! My NOA1 was January 3 and their email says I should get the copy in the mail by April 9. Maybe my application was just put into a November filers box and done early.....😃

Congratulations, best wishes to you & your partner. I hope with everything happening all goes well for you!

Great Surprised came through the mail today (4/4/202) the NOA2!!!!! I thought my NOA1 was January 24th since that's when I got the text notification, but the notice has January 21 and approval was March 30th. Either way we are so happy of this wonderful surprised.  I  did not receive any text or email and have not check status online since I was not expecting anything so soon. All glory to God!

I have this feeling that they are approving the applications much faster, so they don't get behind. The holdup is when the embassy begins work again. Expect delays.

I agree. Although I'm excited of the quick approval, I'm nervous because the approval is only good for for months and have a feeling it may expire because of all going on with Covid-19

USCIS does give an expiration of the NOA2 for 3 months after NOA2 approval. However, the embassy has the power to extend the NOA2 approval every 3 months for up to one year. The embassy will automatically extend the NOA2 approval if you cannot get an interview at no fault of yours.

You shouldn't have a concern for the expiration date on your NOA2. The NOA2 has an expiration date of four months but extendable in four months increments to one year. If you go beyond the one year you will have to start over. Your current NOA2 is valid for four months but can be extended by the discretion of the embassy in four month increments to a one-year total. With the current situation, I see no problem with you being able to proceed to receiving a visa in the NOA2 time period of one year.

They are four-month increments, not three-months.
