Welp, we got put in administrative processing. Everything seemed to be going well at the interview until the CO noticed she didn’t have the i-134. Which is weird, since my fiancé had sent it to them directly via email (and got their automated covid email answer, meaning it arrived to the right place). I did have a printed out copy I showed them.
She just said that they need to process some things. They kept my passport.
Sincerely hope this doesn’t take long and we don’t get rejected.

Patience is the keyword for this year it seems.

We are in administrative processing too! Did they tell you that you got approved and you received little slip with it saying?
My doctor didn’t send the medical on time, but I called him right away and he confirmed that he sent it that day. So I just think this is normal now!

If what the received from you in the way of documentation for the I-134, Affidavit of Support then there isn't a concern especially since the have kept the passport. No one can say with any certainty how long that will take. Stay on ceac.state.gov and when you can no longer see your file on "immigrant" then try "non-immigrant" and if that works then your file is moving forward to completion. CEAC will also show "issued" which at that time you will have instructions on how to retrieve your passport with the visa affixed.

@LegalAlienn they didn’t tell me it was approved, she said it’s been temporarily denied because they need to process some things, and gave me the paper saying so.
@Greenbaum thank you. I am assuming that it will be approved and that there aren’t issues, just this year, man, it’s been chaos, as we all know. Lol. And yeah, no one can say how long, I am just hoping it’s soon so I can actually make it out of Croatia, cases have been skyrocketing here.
Oh well, it will be as it will be. I’m lucky I am able to even get the visa at this time.

I love your attitude. It's what will get you through this.

Check over the visa to be sure there isn't any spelling errors. If there is contact the Embassy for further instructions. Keep the "do not open" pouch in the plastic and stowed away in her carryon luggage. Luggage does get lost and without the "do not open" packet it will be a difficult problem for her at immigration once she arrives at her POE.

My case status also turned today to Issued.. seems like that the embassy in Sarajevo works only on Mondays and Wednesdays where on Mondays they have interviews and on Wednesdays they process the cases. @E&W did you get your passport back the same they it changed to Issued or?

My documents were delivered yesterday. Makes sense, it takes a few days for the post to deliver it.

Woooow they've been so lazy.. honestly it's not like they got hundreds of applications here in Bosnia so they can't mail it the same day.

But oh well what can we do then just wait on them to do their job! Thank you

Who knows what kind of crazy work rules they got since covid. In any case it will arrive soon and then you can do the next step.

It's for those who have received their NOA2. If you received a NOA1 in Jan 2020 then you need to be in the thread found here:

Hi, is anyone else on here still waiting as well? 😇

We received NOA2 January 7th and I had my interview in Stockholm on March 12th... but the visa was never issued due to the travel ban on the Schengen area☹️ Now we're even thinking about perhaps joining the lawsuit to get things moving, but we haven't decided yet. It's hard when you don't know when things will happen if you don't join and how long the wait would potentially be.

There are some who are still waiting for their embassy to begin processing their K-1 visas and others have moved on since their embassy is conducting interviews and issuing visas. The travel ban is not what is keeping you from getting a visa, but coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is. If you were to get a visa you could transverse to another country that is not in the Schengen area, quarantine for 14 days and then fly to the US. Many are having success with that route. This is one way of "skinning the cat" if you will.

Joining the lawsuit is a personal decision, one I am sure you are not taking lightly. Embassies are beginning to open and Sweden I am sure will be open soon. To wait or become a part of the lawsuit is a "flip of the coin" as to which is going to move your fille quicker. I wish you all the best in your decision.
