Just wow.

Sure you can lie if you want but don't be surprised when they are gonna ask for more evidence about the period you lied about and you can't produce the evidence or dig yourself even deeper. They will catch you for sure, the consulate ppl are not stupid, they saw every possible combination by now. Also even if you made it they still can catch you and strip your LPR or citizenship when the lie is discovered.

You definitely can overcome a big age gap, but not in a few months old relationship. Also proposing on the first visit???? Huge red flag. Probably you will need to date for a while (a year or two) then file...

Visiting orphanages won't help your case  and taking pictures in an orphanage seems super desperate. It's not a shopping mall geez.

We plan on seeing again before she applies and also again before the interview which will make it 3 times of seeing and spending time with each other. All her kids wrote a reference letter to help prove our relationship is real including her sister.

Lying will get you denied and possibly a ban from the US.

Adopting a child to increase chances is 0%.     having a child don't mean nothing. As on IO said to someone I know who was pregnant with twins,  " Pregnancy only means you had sex, it don't show a genuine relationship. "

Being from Nigeria , is considered a high fraud country,   and being much younger is a red flag.  Age can be overcome in some cases , as I'm older then my husband, we don't have kids, after our  2 minute  Stokes interview and brought together again,  we were asked if we were still considering adoption, and that surprised me, and yes we are still considering it as I can not carry a child.

Lying and possible adoption sounds desperate for green card, IO will see that at interview.  Spend loads more time together.   And if you think of getting married if K1 is denied, you need to address the issues of why, getting marriage  wont guarantee you a visa then, even with a adopted child, visiting a orphanage is not proof of anything, anyone can do that, its a child, not a puppy your considering of adopting. Its a life long commitment with both.   This process for some is hard and grueling for the couple, but can work out.  You have to prove a true and genuine relationship, and yes that can take time to show evidence to USCIS.

Best Wishes .

We plan on filling after her second visit and our engagement and then we wanna take a trip together which is more like a pre honeymoon. Then after filling, we plan on spending another time with each other again before the interview to make it 3 times she visited Nigeria and a time we went on vacation. Would that help or should just hold on till after she visit again for the 3rd time before filling??

I would visit a few more times before filing and if possible she should be there for interview, even if she is not allowed inside embassy at time of interview, just being in the country with you may help.

Best wishes on your journey.

after the 3rd visit, How much time exactly will you have spent together in total? As others have said there are many many flags so the more time the better. You are applying at a consulate that has many fraudulent cases where the marriage/engagement is for immigration purposes. You will have to convince them otherwise

I think OP mind is already made up thus the title of his thread. I think he is predisposed to lie. At any rate it does not look good.

I await your honest opinions

NEVER LIE to immigration!

As others have mentioned before, Nigeria raises red flags when there are huge gaps in age.

Also, no VJ member will condone fraud or opinions on how you can commit fraud.
