From GE and not the DOE website, but I think this is what I was talking about: https://www.ge.com/reports/blown-away-ge-now-top-manufacturer-wind-turbines-us/

And I was only ever talking about wind turbines used in the US. They may not be the biggest overall in the world -- I never said that 😊 -- but they are in the US. And I think Trump was talking about the US but honestly I can't follow what he's talking about half the time, sometimes it's rants about how he's asking women about the effectiveness of modern dishwashers.

Here is the DOE article you wanted.  Looks like GE and Vestas are neck and neck.   The interesting and pertinent facts that go back to the original argument is that most wind turbine components are made outside of North America and imported.  It's esy to understand that, although GE is a US based company, much of their manufacturing is done overseas.

But why would a member of the Drive-By Media want to read an entire Trump speech if all they are looking for is an isolated quote? Surely they would just listen to what others have already reported to amplify a preferred narrative. It's a far lazier way to get to where they want to get to, right? :)

They read it until they find what they want.  If it's at the end, they had to read all of it. :P

Good observation -- they do that now.  Read various daily/weekly verbiage (some good montages on RushLimbaugh.com and elsewhere) to see what their "term or theme of the day/week" is.

Indeed.  And it's surprising (disturbingly) how many accusations/allegations are parroted without any of the Drive-Bys' actually calling the subject of same to see if said allegations are true.

You would think they might have learned by now with Rush ridiculing them with his montages.  I guess laziness of the mainstream media is too pervasive.
