Hi Jim,

Have you inquired with the consulate for any updates ? Apparently after 60 days sounds like it's reasonable to inquire (at least from documentation I've read).

Hi Jim, I think you should just wait, nothing else to do. I have same kind of problem, my wife and kids got interview at beginning of November, and so far I couldnt get any feedback. Even system does not show any information, it says your status is still in scheduling interview, it does not any make sense.

I have question, after interview consulate officer was keeping their passports or not?

Because in US consulate web page says that if your visa approved, officer keep passports to place visa on it.

Yes my passport was kept after she approved me and said congratulations, ``am I going to meet my wife`' she said yes.

Consulate Officers should not give a "verbal approval".......because it is not an approval. It is a recommendation.  Approval always comes after the interview and AP.  In some situations, cases are not approved after administrative processing.  It isn't common, but it happens.  The only real indication of approval is when the status changes to "Issued".  The fact that the consulate kept your passport is certainly a good sign.  Hopefully, you will receive the visa soon.  Good luck.
