The issue is when people lose jobs, are taken to court, suspended from VJ? because they do not use your preferred terminology.

How it inhibits one's rights and affects anyone else is quite simple.. gender larping isn't a new concept, nor the freedom to pretend to be whatever you want. What's new is policies, whether corporate or government, forcing other people to play along with that larping, and all the wonderful pitfalls associated with that, including the statutory protection of larping to harass people, such as young girls.

I was going to turn this over to Al for his thoughts but when he finished I realized it violated the TOS.

 

Bathroom equity is not what this policy is about. Thank you for pulling this completely off track, your efforts are noted. I wish I could write what Alex said. But I can say he just rolled his eyes, and asked me to make another him another sandwich. That's definitely not in violation of the TOS!

But that's not what this is about? The airline isn't forcing staff to do anything. The passenger gets to choose.

To use an Airline analogy, Emotional Support Animals, what could be wrong with those being allowed to travel for free? This not the end, it is not even the beginning of the end, it is the beginning.

He is polite with Americans who call him English, because his accent is very soft (been mostly in England since he was 16, mum is English, and the "posh Scots" combo into something that sounds not very Scottish). He gently corrects people and hopes they remember so he doesn't have to be a little rude next time. He has no problem with being called British. 

 

His sister is a little less understanding.

Quite true, which is why "bathroom equity" wasn't elaborated upon, but the freedom of people not to be coerced into playing along with the imagination of others.
