I know nothing about basketball or Mr. Thomas but good for him. I am sure that obnoxious fan was shocked when confronted

Was a dumb fan who clearly backtracked when the cameras/attention was on him, and I don't feel bad for the attention he's getting, but there really was no reason for Thomas to enter the stands.

According to Thomas, the guy was mad because Thomas hit 1 of 2 free throws, and apparently people get a free frosty or something if they miss or make both, not sure how that works since I don't watch or care about the NBA, but the guy flipped off Thomas after the second free throw and was yelling obscenities at him repeatedly while flipping him off. Fairly certain that fans like this can be ejected if players complain. But it's never a good look to enter the stands to confront people.

Honestly, when I saw the headline, I first thought about the former Detroit Piston “Bad Boy” Isaiah Thomas.  That tells you how much I follow the NBA, I had no idea that another Isaiah Thomas was currently playing.  Regardless, never a good idea for a player to enter the stands.  I remember seeing this occasionally in hockey games and past NBA games (Ron Artest), but it always looks bad.

I always think of that Thomas as well, but I know it was like 30 years ago so.. yeah I'm ****ing old now.

Not related, and actually, they spell their names slightly differently.  Isaiah Thomas current player, Isiah Thomas former player.
