Hello everyone,

What kind of notification should we expect for NOA2? Will my fiance who is the petitioner receive an email first or should he wait for the letter via post? Also, when will our status in the USCIS change?

Our NOA1 date is 12th of September 2019 and really hoping and praying that we get our NOA2 this December.

Thank you and Merry Christmas to everyone! :)

Your fiance (petitioner) will receive a 2nd I-797c Notice of Action which would be the approval or denial notice.      Of course you have to wait for the NOA2 before proceeding.

Welcome to the forum.

According to the VJ stats, the time frame between NOA1 to NOA2 for K1 visas looks to be running a bit over 100 or so days. https://www.visajourney.com/times/k1-fiance-visa-historical/

Maybe you will get your wish, as long as not too many USCIS workers take holiday leave. While you are waiting, :time:It helps everyone that uses, or is helped by the forum. The information helps make the VJ stats, like the ones quoted above, relevant.

Good luck on your immigration journey, and Happy Holidays!!

I made an account at the USCIS site for tracking our case. I got an email when we got approved, but others who also signed up didn't. I'm the beneficiary btw.
