Is NOA2 a longer wait for F2B?

Does it take longer to receive an NOA2 for an LPR's I-130 petition for an F2B (unmarried adult son or daughter)

 than it does for an F2A or IR family preference?

(talking about just the NOA2 notice, not the years-long wait for the final visa itself)

Still a little confused by the different info on wait times for this.

i130 Processing time is most dependent on the service Center handling the petitions... and the internal prioritising of the categories of applications that use this form .. so there is really no easy yes or no answer

Keep in mind that though you have the NOA2 approval, depending on your country your relative will have to wait anywhere from 10-21 years for the PD to become current and the process of the medical and Consulate interview to be completed in the relatives country. Also, if you could please take care of some housekeeping. We do not know what country your relative is coming from so I had to state a period of time instead of being country specific. If you could please complete your profile by doing the following:

Go to your username on the upper right hand corner and click>Click Profile>Click Edit Profile and change to your relatives country

 

If you could also fill in your timeline by again going to your username in the upper right hand corner and click>Click My Timeline>Click Edit/Add My Entry and fill in your timeline.
