Hey Ya'll, 

 

my husband and I only filled for the work authorization and AOS Green card in Nov. I know the work authorization will come in sooner than the green card but we did not file the advance parole simultaneously . We however have realized that he may actually need the advance parole after all. Can we just file it separately  or just wait till the green card comes ? 

 

Hope all the NOV 2019 AOS Adjusters are hanging in there? The wait is long....

You can file an I-131 separately.  Just include a copy of the NOA you received after filing Adjustment of Status.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..
