I don’t understand.
i had filed under my husband and sent in I-130 which was approved and I-485 I went to my interview and my husband didn’t. I did a vawa petition I got approved of the facie paid for ead. It updated that they used my old fingerprints then the I-130 was updated and said “ we ordered your new card” I did my medical but it wasn’t sent in.  What card are they referring to? Did this happen to anyone?

Welcome to the forum.

I suspect that there may be a couple more people that also don't quite understand your posting. VAWA stands fro Violence Against Women Act... How does a piece of legislation send you a an email notice?? :blink:

I did a self Petition under violence against women the documents are processed in the Vernon office when u are approved u do ur I-485 with USCIS.
so the petition I did under VAWA at the Vermont office sent a reply just like when u have an account on the USCIS website I have an account and they sent a message that we ordered ur new card. And in the email it says a card is being made but the receipt number is under the i-130 I did... not the work permit receipt number that I paid for.  I already did a I-485 so I don’t think I will be doing another one.
does yone knows about this or had the same experience with VAWA?

Do you mean the notice is related to the I-360, your vawa petition? The I-130 is the petition your husband filed for you and should be dead since you switched to vawa.

if it's indeed the notice on your form I-360, then this means your vawa was approved and you will receive EAD under c31 instead the c9 from I-765.

yes u are so right. Do u know what’s the next procedure being that I did my I-485 with USCIS already?

You just keep on waiting - next thing you'll probably receive the EAD via mail, then approval notice via mail, at some point in a couple of months you might receive a transfer notice for the I-485 via mail (when they send it to local office) and then - after lots of patience - you'll receive the interview notice :)

I highly recommend you join this thread as there a lots of people in the same situation as you.

And congratulations on your approval :)

Thank you and same for you!

@Quarknase I would like to know if anyone had ever apply for a social security for a child who is pending. I know this is not the vawa profile but I was accepted under vawa and my daughter is pending under me.
