I know this is a subject dear to many of our hearts or other bits, and finally the ACLU has jumped on board.

It was a battle for Jaden Fields to even get the appointment. When he, a trans man, tried to make arrangements with a gynecologist’s office, he was met with disrespect and disbelief. So much so that his primary care provider had to make the appointment for him. When he arrived at the office, he was dismissed, misgendered by the staff and eventually had the police called on him.

Fields, who described his experiences for Hello Beautiful, is far from the only transgender person to have a problem finding respect and affirmation from the health care establishment.

This kind of stuff is becoming more normalized from the left, to where respected organizations like the ACLU are warping to become the opposite of their premise. Rather than protecting freedoms and letting people make their own choices individually, they're (in this case) becoming freedom squashing SJWs trying to force people to implement their religious views of gender.

 

Movements like this also fly in the face of science, as we know there are only two genders biologically (we've mapped the gender markers that matter, in XX and XY chromosomes), and that "feeling like" the stereotypes of another gender is both illogical and biologically impossible. It exposes their hijacking and weaponizing of science, and also that institutions are nothing more than obstacles to take over+weaponize/destroy to make them getting their way easier. The ACLU and other once-normal civil rights organizations also advocate against an individual's freedom to call people whatever they want (or even logically following the biological sexes) to be taken away, forcing you to ask/know/remember the subjective gender and pronouns anyone conjures up and calling them by that, lest you be committing a microaggression against them which is actually a violent act and thus a tort+crime to be punished.

 

This is really only the beginning of this contrived chaos. It's also preferred by politicians and the media, particularly because it helps keep attention (and thus criticism of the corrupt stuff they're doing) away from them.
