if you do not get a letter just bring it to the interview.

A copy of your sponsors tax filing is sufficient, they want to see that the sponsor is paying taxes so 1099/W2 is not enough. They want to see 1040 or tax transcript.

So they won't deny it if it's needed but it's not included?

And ohh! That should be excellent!

We're getting W2, pay stubs and a 1099 from my main sponsor (my wife) and a tax transcript that were trying to get from the IRS website, we were having some trouble having the IRS system confirm some login details, so the website issued a verification code that is going to be sent to our mailbox, hopefully that will be quick.

And then W2s, pay stubs and IRS transcripts from out joint sponsor!

We are missing one of their W2 from two years ago or so, so we're issuing it which might take some time too.

If all things go through well and I'll have everything ready by hopefully next Friday or so, before shipping everything I'll make sure to list up all the documents I'm including here!

Thank you so much!

No they will NOT deny you for a missing i-693. You will have to bring it with you to the interview. Should they waive the interview since you have already had one then they will send an RFE for it.

You do not need w2/1099 or pay stubs. I guess you can include them just to be thorough. What is required is tax return for most recent tax year. The income for the other 2 years is just filled into the form. Also a tax transcript for the previous might be helpful. Do NOT worry about the missing w2.

That's comforting to know!

Thank you so much! I can't express enough how meanful your help is!

I'll update further if I got any questions or if I'm finally ready to submit!

I'm unable to edit the previous post but I do have a concern!

My wife and I have been making plans to move to another address for a few months now, we were planning on committing the official move this month, but as soon as we discovered about the denial earlier this month, we placed finishing the forms as our highest priority, so we are moving later once after we are finished, expecting late January or so.

We are aware that we are able to change our address at anytime and it does not ring me any issue, but the fact that we're shifting addresses so quickly after submitting the forms (which are going to have my current residency) is raising a concern as I have never dealt with address changing in the past and unaware of the process and how it interferes.

I wanna be faithful to submitting the forms and write my honest current residency, but I'm wondering, would moving out and then alerting the uscis that we have changed our address cause an interference with the pending i-485 and the rest of the forms?

Or should I approach this case differently?

I should be still living under the same address even during or after my second visit to the biometric appointment, if that helps in any way!

I think if you to move then you move. Just complete a change of address form for every form you send. i-485/i-131/i-765

Hello, while a change of address is always required, it doesn't always work. This is what I did in my case: Before I sent my application (in my case a N400) I went to the post office and got a PO box. On my forms, I indicated my physical address as the one where I was at and my mailing address as my PO box. I had to move a couple of times during that process and I was so glad I had the PO box. With every move I did the change of address online and by letter. By the time my interview came around, I asked the IO what she had on her end and she only saw the very first address. She didn't see any of the address changes. I asked her to change my address for the approval letter (oath letter) and she confirmed she will send it to my new address, not my PO box. You can guess what happened. My letter went to my PO box. Good thing I kept it until the very end! The moment I saw it in informed delivery, I drove over there and picked up my letter.

So I hear! But I hear that people face complications sometimes with the uscis sending letters to wrong addresses and such, though my fear is that they would think that I misinformed them and lied about my residency just because they didn't get notified that I already changed my address on their online website

Yeesh! That's sounds bizarre haha!

Im gonna see about issuing a possible po box, though it would be as urgent to me because if they still choose to send letters to my previous address, it shouldn't be too big of an issue because thankfully our family lives there, it ls just a matter of coming and picking thet letters up which shouldn't be too much of an problem!

I just hope the uscis doesn't think I lied about my address just because they were not correctly informed about my change of address 😅

Than you for sharing your story! That's something to watch out for!

What a roller coaster indeed!

Hey again! So we have been waiting for our IRS vertification code to arrive at our mailbox so we could create an Irs account and print out the transcripts, but it's taking too long so I'm going to list all of the documents I'm going to include in my next package!

The included documents are going to be:

* The I-485 form

* An I-765 form

* I-131 form

* 6 passport pictures + a CVS cartificate indicating that the passport are meeting all the US passport requirements

* A photocopy of my birth certificate, including my wife's for a good measure

* A photocopy of my passport and my K1 visa

* The vaccination documentation worksheet I obtained from my USCIS certified doctor back when I got checked back in my home country, including these also for a good measure

* A 2 page I-94 that I obtained and printed from their customs website

* A photoscan of our I-797 Notice of Action from when we were approved for our I-129f petition

Including also a photoscan of our approved I-129f front page, and the letter my wife received from the NVC about recieving our approved I-129f and forwarding it to my country's embassy

* A certified copy of our marriage certificate

* An I-864 from my wife including:

-Pay stubs for recent 3 years

-W2's for recent 3 years

-And an Irs transcript were hoping to get our hands on as soon as possible.

* And an I-864 from my joint sponsor including:

-Pay stubs for 6 months, including a note stating that they are now salaried

-W2's for 3 years

-IRS transcript

* Money order to make up the required fees

* And a cover page that were to make once we achieve and complete all of our documents, so we could have a complete intro and explanation for our entire packet.

Before sending, we will make a scan of all of the documents we're sending and keeping it to ourselves, unless we should make a copy for them too?

I hope I'm not forgetting anything!

Anything else I should include?

Remember that each form is a separate package, even though you send them all together. So each form needs their own evidences. Separate the forms, separate the pictures. Also send with each form a copy of your birth certificate with a translation attached, a copy of the I-94, a copy of the fiance Visa and a copy of the marriage certificate (some of them might no be necessary but it doesn't hurt to send).

You don't need to send a certified marriage certificate. All documents you send should be photocopies. Unless you have a bunch of certified copies, send a photocopy.

You don't need the CVS thing. Don't overcomplicate your package.

I believe for the IRS account, you should be able to receive the code on your phone. That's how my husband did. He didn't have to wait for a code in the mail.

If you send the IRS Tax Return Transcript you shouldn't send W2s. It's either 1040 + W2 or Tax Return Transcript.

No need for 3 years of paystubs as well. They recommend 6 months ( I only sent 3).

That's what I included in my package, no RFEs.

That's a good idea actually!!

Thank you so much for even attaching your own list!

Thank you for letting me know what to do!

I only have two marriage certificate copies left, so I'm gonna include just one certified marriage copy with the i-845, and photocopies of my marriage certificate for the rest of the forms!

When you say that each form gets its own package, by package you mean that you send out three different mails? If not and you only sent out one mail package, how did you orginize your documents to make it 3 packages in one mail?

Also the reason why Irs sent us a vertification code through mail was because when we were trying to attempt to get a vertification on our phone, the system said that they do not associate our wife's phone number with her IRS information, or something like that.

We're definitely going to send out as many of supporting documents as possible just in case.

So we're going to include W2s with transcripts even if it's not necessary 😅

You send them in the same envelope. But they are all gonna be adjudicated separately. So you can use a paper clip to separate each form with their own evidences.

Alrighty! Today we finally got our IRS vertification code and we printed all of our transcripts!

Unfortunately we were unable to get the transcripts from the physical IRS office itself because they were closed despite opening hours, so we were depended on the mail vertification until the offices reopen again (which are opening this Monday)

So we created a cover page and we got all of the extra copies we're going to include with our other included forms.

We're going to issue the money order, organize everything nicely and send off the forms to the races!

Will update if there are any extra concerns or if we sent the forms!

We're definitely sending them through a 2 day shipping delivery method.

Wife here,

So, the forms were written through by me but we both filled it together while I was writing. Is this going to cause complication? I’m not an official interpreter or preparer ect so I’m just not sure. Of course I didn’t sign for him, but everything else is my handwriting.
