Embassy requesting marriage certificate from previous marriage

Checking anything on CEAC won't change the dates. The lat update date may get updated if you contact the consulate.

Yes I check it almost everyday on ceac. That last and only time it was updated when they received the document and that’s it. I understand about AP process but there should be a reason for that. They said at the time of interview that everything is ok except the previous marriage certificate so we sent it, now what’s the point of delaying it?

Also, I met a Karachi guy here yesterday who came last year on family visa. He said his passport came back with in 10 days so not sure why it’s taking that long. It been already 2.5 months.

Ok, yes it is frustrating.  But you're will come soon too.  Every One has different timing it seems.  Don't worry it will get solved soon

They asked my previous nikah nama at the time of interview. Even divorce certificate was attached but they still asked for the document. We submitted it and case is now in AP since then. It’s been almost 3 months now. 

And u know what .. they asked my previous wedding pictures.. I submitted but no response.. still on AP

We sent it through courier as they wanted to see the original document.

Yeah sure .. I submitted also through courier n upload too on ceac website ..n waiting for review 😭 I dont know when AP will be finished 😓

Has it been accepted through ceac or still shows “submitted”? We asked them about online submission and they said they want to see the original.

For the safe side I sent wedding pictures through courier n upload too. U also can do this upload on ceac website too .. and submitted ll always submitted in pakistan ..there is no acceptances

14th nov I submitted .. and last update 05 dec.. waitng for review
