Why is Pelosi sitting on this, the American people, well CNN, demand it is sent to the Senate.

She should do her Constitutional Duty.

Agreed.  She seems to think she can control the Senate as well.  She says the Senate should set fair rules like they did in the House, :jest: and she has her lackey Chuck running point for her.

Wait, this just in, President Trump hasn’t joined the Johnson-Clinton club yet.

Donald Trump demands 'immediate' impeachment trial as Mitch McConnell declares 'impasse' with Chuck Schumer - and Harvard Law professor says president isn't impeached yet because Nancy Pelosi won't send articles to the Senate

She is not sure what to do. The leftist donors have caused Democrats to back themselves into a corner that they can't get out of. Trumps approval ratings are up....the polls for impeachment aren't looking that good. If, from their point of view, Trump gets re-elected, what will they do then? Another impeachment? That will go over well. This is why Pelosi didn't seem all that on board with all this to begin with. This "case" was a loser from the beginning.

She doesn't send it. Blames it on Republican corruption and McConnell.

This is getting hilarious. She won't send it to the Senate, they're the ones saying they couldn't afford Trump due process because it was a national emergency and required lightning speed, now that the end has arrived, they want to put on the brakes.

She even wants to negotiate with Mitch on how he runs the Senate? Hahahahahaha

No doubt, this is rich.  The second article is an absolute joke, how has Trump obstructed Congress with no court orders being ignored?  Oh wait, Schiff, Nadler, and Pelosi said they did not have time to follow the subpoena route.  I guess the Dems are relying on those folks that don’t realize there are three branches of government, the Ocasio- Cortez crowd.  The first article is equally a joke relying on hearsay, opinion and assumption.  The Turtle is right, the articles are laughable.  Queen Nancy is in the proverbial corner and Brad Parscale is using this to get a lot of donations.  In my opinion, Trump should schedule two impeachment rallies each week.

She has no choice in the matter. The SCOTUS is directly involved now as the Chief Justice presides over the Senate trial itself and Justice Roberts will order it turned over. Senate will promptly find Trump innocent of all charges. Ridiculous waste of time.

Only 8% higher and he would tie Jimmy Carter at the same point of their presidential terms. FWIW.

Hey guise, Mitch is an impartial juror and should recuse himself!

https://www.newsweek.com/senator-increasing-talk-mitch-mcconnell-recuse-himself-impeachment-trial-1477875

But.. not Klobuchar, Warren, Sanders, Gillibrand, Harris, Baldwin, Schatz, Murray, Blumenthal, Booker, Kaine, Brown, Cardin, Durbin, Duckworth, Heinrich, Hassan, Feinstein, Murray, Peters, Reed, Murphy, Merkley, Markey, Shaheen, Menendez, King, Wyden, Whitehouse, Warner, Van Hollen, Stabenow, Udall, Smith, Schumer.. 35 impartial Democrats who've committed themselves to pre-emptively deciding Trump's guilt before the Senate trial.

Not to worry though, Newsweek tells us Trump is only six votes away from Senate "impeachment" (the genius means conviction/removal).... back in 2017.

Who needs SNL when you have this?

Isn't the Senate "the greatest deliberative body" with 100 members? It is presumption that one Senator from Kentucky holds all the cards.

Notice how there's not a peep about one House Rep from California "holding all the cards" by stalling their own impeachment while flailing about denying due process for Trump because of their own claim of how emergent it is to speed through this? The selective outrage about "one person" just makes this all the better, because they want their "one person" to decide things. McConnell didn't interfere whatsoever with the moronic biased and due process denying show Pelosi had her party put on. Now they want to somehow have discretion on how the Senate does its job, because suddenly one House Rep should "deliberate" with the Senate even though their jobs are distinctly separate.

Anyways, McConnell isn't an idiot, he's not going to budge whatsoever, as he watched his party be cut out from the process in the House. They can sit on the sham impeachment as long as they like while wishing for negotiating leverage. It just demonstrates to independents and moderates that this was nothing to take seriously all along. Some of us knew this from the start.

Rather (because I can't edit anymore), not just due process for Trump, but for the few Republicans who took this seriously, due process and investigatory time to find actual information which includes presentation of exculpatory evidence, because making a rational choice (rather than a pointless political waste of time) actually matters to some. Basically, the GOP members who were on the fence, and hate Trump's guts, the actions of the Democrats just pushed the rest of them to the side of Trump. So you can lead a horse to water and try to explain to them how this sort of behavior is self-defeating, it's entirely up to them to drink. They can choose not to, and choices have consequences that bear out in the real world. Some of us can utilize our IQ/EIQ/SQ to readily see how processes will play out. Others will pretend they're about to get their way (actively seek confirmation bias, however long the stubborn behavior persists in lieu of results), and those are the people who coincidentally lash out the most (exhibiting unstable behavior) when their way doesn't bear out in the real world.

What they need is people like me who will tell them the truth, no matter how much they don't want to hear it, but clearly what they prefer is people to tell them what they want to hear.
