Des is COOL !!!!

I love him ! You know what they say about a cat with big feet...

LOL

He is so cute !

And yeah, let me talk with some experience about declawing: When I was a little girl of 10 years old, my gran got me a kitten for getting an "A" in math...My dad wasn't pleased and said I could ONLY keep the cat if she were to get declawed. Well, I was able to stave him off from that for 5 years until kitty scratched my step mum (good cat!)

After that, she was declawed. She was never the same after that. She became insecure and inevitable became a biter. She never bit me, but would bite my friends & such. I I was 26 and well on my own when she died, but she was always very insecure and I always had to keep an eye on her when I had friends over.

It messes with their psyche's...I have dogs now, but would NEVER EVER declaw a cat if I am ever to have the pleasure of living with aother one. It's plain cruel...

My friends use the softpaws, as they have small kids-and I am a BIG fan.

PS-Been to the Hemingway house in Key West. It was the highlight of the trip !!! FANTASTIC !!!!

Actually, Tabujet's eyes should be dry and clear like the other kitten's. She may have either allergies or some sort of viral infection - kind of like a cold. Kittens are very susceptible to such things. Gently wash her eyes with a warm moist cloth to remove the gunk. If it gets worse, consider taking her to the vet for special eyedrops to cure them.

If either of them start to get respiratory problems - stuffy noses and watery eyes, etc. - definitely get them to the vet right away because these are serious problems with little kittens and require veterinary treatment. Hopefully, Tabujet's eyes will clear up soon without a problem.

Thanks for the advice Kathryn.. (F)

Is there any OTC eye-drop or something to give her in case it get worse ? going to the vet takes time to have an appointment I think  ..just wanna give her some first aid so it didn't get worse..

Thanks

Actually, there isn't anything that is safe to use OTC on cats without the vets approval. Cats are extremely sensitive to many medications and some that will help and heal people - or even dogs - will kill a cat. The best thing to do is to use the warm moist cloth and keep the eyes clean. Generally, what happens if it is serious is that it will turn into a respiratory problem - the nose with get stuffy and the eyes may get matted with sticky stuff and it becomes hard to see. If you get any respiratory problems then you need to see a vet, even if it requires an appointment. If it is just wet eyes, keep them clean and dry, watch the kitten to make sure it is eating and drinking and active and don't try anything unless the vet has cleared it first. I am sure everything will be fine.
