"Issued" is the term they use for approved, printed, stamped in your passport and ready for return. They will send it to some facility or a courier who will return it either to your address or to a pick up facility. You can follow up with the courier to see where the packet is currently. Congratulations on the approval.

I learned the hard way, I hope YOU don't have to. Advice: learn, learn, learn.

No, the status will remain "issued" from the CEAC website from now on. You will check with the courier now to see what the status is of the mail.

I need to figure out how to check that.....can you help me out? Is there a link?

Probably you got your visa already, if not, this is how it works: once it says issue, the embassy is ready to hand over the passport to the courier, then an email will be sent informing that the passport was handed oven to the courier, then the courier will send an email informing that they got a document from the embassy and can be picked up at the address selected. ID needed.

PD: Embassy and courier will provide a tracking number for you to check.
