Hi,

I filed a I-290B Motion to Reopen because the field office denied our I485 saying they did not receive the RFE response but it was received on time and we have the delivery proof for it.

I290B was received on Dec 6 with number "MSC...". We called USCIS and a L1 officer said it is at NBC. Since the decision was given by field office the 290B needs to be sent to the field office.

Does anyone know, how that happens? Does it happen automatically when someone at NBC picks up the file or does the field office need to request for the 290b files?

Please let me know your experiences with 290b when field office gave the decision. What can we or our lawyer do to move this along?
