Which Visa I need for getting work in US Before getting placed

I just applied for an job which is US based. And they are in urgent need and they are not sponsoring for getting visa. Also my application for gets hold because I don't have any visa and they confirmed that if I get visa permit to work in US they are ready to process my application further. 

Since I am not familiar with visa types and process I don't know which process I need to go throw. Please someone help me in this situation .

Work visas for the US require the company to petition/sponsor you. You cannot get a work visa to work for just any employer.

I'm not understanding...the company urgently needs someone, is willing to hire you....but doesn't want to sponsor you for a work visa?

I'm guessing they want somebody but don't want the wait or costs involved with sponsorship and/or the position would not qualify for a work visa.

Keep looking for a US company that will sponsor you.  That is your best shot at getting a work visa.  If you have skills that are in demand you should be able to find something if you keep looking.  Good luck!

Unless you have amazing skills that are nationally or globally significant and can get an “extraordinary ability” O visa, your only hope is to find a company that will sponsor you for a work visa. Almost all work visas require employer sponsorship.

There is the EB2 NIV, but I seriously doubt any of these apply here.

Not happening in that case.  If they want to hire you, they have to petition you for a visa.

If the position needs to be filled urgently it wouldnt matter even if they were willing to sponsor you. EB visas take quite a bit of time (mine took 2 years)

As said above and by you, they need an immediate hire and so don’t have time to sponsor even if they want to. Even if they sponsor you, the earliest you can work for them is October 2020 that too with luck and required qualification, will be even more for EB based petition.
 

In summary, that position is not for you, so no need to think about it, rather look for other jobs.

I agree with Arken; it almost sounds like they're sort of putting you off. There's just not enough time for them to get you a work visa for an 'immediate' opening. No way.

The OP has given no indication of what sort of job is involved so speculating on the visa assuming there is one is a bit pointless.
